We delve into the members’ data tonight and assess some of the key statistics from the Gameweek gone by. Stoke and Leicester’s weekend goal heroes arrive on our radar, whilst we also analyse Chelsea’s lack of end product, Aaron Ramsey’s central midfield display and the relentless displays of Watford’s top scorer.
-
Gomes | Guzan
Bell | Bertie | Darmian | Francis | Moreno
KdB | Ozil | Mahrez | Cout | Hoolahan
Vardy | Kane | Lukaku
Should I transfer out a defender for Toby or get a better fifth mid and who?
Suggestions pls-
5th mid id fine, maybe Bertrand to Toby
-
Hoolahan for either
King, Stanislas, Arnautovic, Bolaise, Alli. -
Bertrand out
-
-
Good to go? 0 free transfers 5.5 in the bank. Could do Ayew to Silva/Ramsey/Coutinho or Richards to Moreno for a hit.
Butland
Kolarov, Alder, Souare
KDB(c), Ozil, Ayew, Mahrez
Kane(vc), Lukaku, Vardy
Schmeichel, Dawson, Richards, Surman-
Ayew to any of those for hit would tempt me
-
Only thing that puts me off is Arsenal v City next gamweek and Coutinho's fitness. While Ayew has West Ham at home
-
Ayew to Alli for this weekend and then assess... Then maybe Surman to someone next week leaving alli as a 4th/5th mid
-
I don't really mind having Surman, rather than a decent 5th mid I could just do Richards to Moreno and have 5 decent defs
-
yeah go for that
-
-
-
-
-
Gtg, I'm binning Ayew for free to Ramsey/Sterling. May backfire if the manager is changed.
-
-
Myhill/McCarthy
Do I get in butland/DDG?
or save the FT? 4.9ITB-
Jack
-
-
Ddg (Hennessey)
Bertrand Souare Moreno (Dawson Simpson)
Ozil Kdb Hazard Mane (Gosling)
Lukaku Ighalo Vardy
1 FT
6 million ITB
Considering my attack looks pretty ok for this week and Mane deserves one more chance with the stats he has put up how does
Bertrand to Rose look?
or would Mane to Silva/Ramsey/Coutinho make more sense?-
Mane to Ramsey.
-
If you bring in Ramsey/Silva do you mind having 3 out of 4 midfielders playing each other next gameweek?
-
nope.. not really. gonna be the game of the weekend anyway by the looks of it 🙂
-
-
-
I am doing Mane > Ramsey , so I would recommend the same
-
i want to do Mane to Ramsey really badly.. however, Rose + Mane looks a better bet than Bertrand + Ramsey this week 🙂 .. will be swapping Mane out next week anyway. what dya think?
-
Maybe...but Ramsey was spectacular against Sunderland and Villa are not much better
-
Did you see King play against Chelsea ? 😉
-
Yes.. he just cant score 😉
-
Oh come on.....scoring is not everything in football
-
what?
-
🙂
-
-
it is in fpl.. And he is one of the poorest finishers around. all fart and no poo. that being said he's a good 5th mid considering he has somehow beaten Murray for a spot in the 11. would never start him ahead of the other 7 though
-
Baby steps 😛
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Walcott
-
I'd get Toby.
-
punt on Feo? ora bridge to far with Hazard also in there?
-
If i get Theo i'd get him in for Gosling so i have a good 8th attacker for his inevitable benching around Christmas
-
-
Play Simpson over Bertrand 😉
-
-
Really considering triple captaining DeBruyne
-
Too risky for me. As an owner I'm concerned that the points will be spread.
-
Not worried Swansea will do a Newcastle?
City seem all over the place in terms of form. I remember when they looked good in the champions league before, so i captained sterling when they played villa....0-0 and city were very ordinary, even though sterling scored and looked good in Europe.

Morning all!
How's this for a potential WC team?
DDG - Hennessey
Smalling - Kolarov - Koscielny - Alder - Moreno
KdB - Ozil - Ramsey - Barkley - Mahrez
Kane - Lukaku - Ighalo-
Hello.
Smalling maybe injured.
otherwise all good-
What happened him? Was he taken off v Wolfsburg?
Ah well, he would just become Pieters methinks.. Might just bench him.
-
-
What happened to Firmino? 😉
-
He became Rambo 😉
I was always gonna get rid on my WC 🙂 the plan was to ditch after Swansea..-
Ramsey a great pick - at least I hope.
-
-
Over 100,000 players bought in Firmhimo based on your 'troll'!
And now I see your work undone with him-Well played IM!!!
🙂
-
-
Lacks firmino
-
Indeed it does! 😀
Maybe next year 😉
-
-
Butland in for DDG or Pieters in for Smalling. Defence a bit pricey.
-
I really like Pieters, might get him in for Koscielny..
Or Smalling if he's out for a while.
I just figured I don't really need much money these days, may as well spend it!-
One Man U defender/keeper enough. You'll not regret having a few bob in the bank, may be needed in the Jan transfer window.
-
-
-
Unreal, you are gonna have some bench headaches for sure!
-
-
Morning all - how goes it on this fine Wednesday morning?
-
It goes ok, very cold though!
-
That it is!
-
-
Good to fair I think, my wife is racing later...
-
😀
-
-
Studger hammy rumours are picking up pace *sigh*
-
I thought a few sources had confirmed it now? Sky etc.
Have to wait for press conferences I guess / Thursday but doesn't sound good.
Also - http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2015/12/08/the-big-numbers-gameweek-15-4/?hc_page=3#hc_comment_12060124-
That's what I mean by the rumour picking up as the big media have it now but there's nothing from Liverpool directly yet.
It's a Gru/Vardy shootout for me as I reckon Leicester are more fixture proof than Watford. I will say though as much as I love the idea of treble Arsenal attack I'm not sure just how wise it is.-
Aye does seem a tad risky with the fixtures.
Getting in Vardy after missing out on all his points when his fixtures are at the toughest they've been just seems ridiculous but it might have to be done...-
Aha there might be too much pride at stake for us both to get him now
-
My pride stops me from getting Mahrez 🙁
-
'Pride before a fall'
Just buy him Eden.

Perfect Tv on the rise again (100.4/7.4itb)
Gonna treat myself soon to someone nice for Christmas!-
Aguero? 🙂
-
Luka/Vardy/Kane(c)
I sold Kun last week for Kane -4 and even tho I'm Agueros biggest fan-I ain't going back until I see gametime and goals in the same sentence Andy.
-
-
-
-
Actually looking forward to the Arsenal game. Looking at wally/ramsey/Coutinho for my Mane replacement.
Butland
Koscielny Alderweireld Moreno
Mahrez Ozil Barkley Mane King
Kane Lukaku
Hennessey Ward Simpson Aguero-
Actually looking forward to playing king vs United if Aguero is still out.
-
-
Gotta feel sorry for Sturridge at this point, I feel for the lad-It must be so frustrating for him, it's always a Shane to see good players injured even worse to see them on the mend all the time.
Hope Daniel gets better sometime soon.-
This, gutted for him. Such a great player but I feel his playing days are numbered. Klopp never rushed him back and yet he still gets injured probably just light training. Shame.
-
-
So with so much spare cash about due to sells of Sanchez/Aguero are any of you going back to a strong 8 man benching headache attack?
Current front 8
KDB Ozil Coutinho Marhez LINGARD >> Silva/Ramsey
Lukaku Kane Vardy
Would probably bench Vardy as I see Chelsea man marking him out of the game
Even if Aguero returns v Swans he'd only play 60mins then has Arsenal away. Could also be handy over Xmas having a strong bench?
Thoughts?-
I'm same see above(7.4itb), gonna save this week and asses, Westwood can become anyone I like!
-
I think it this week you'd want to do it.. Silva v Swans or Ramsey v AV as these two teams meet the next GW
-
Both defences are off form so it's okay. Probably a high scoring game.
-
I have thought about those 2 for sure but who would you bench out of Kdb/Mahrez/Ozil/Barks?
AOA leaves me benching 1 of Kola/Bell/Moreno
- I'm enjoying having a good playing compliment as it is.-
Barks probably but this is the problem when having a strong front 8 maybe I will also wait a week.
-
He would be the one for sure, but he has an uncanny pattern I don't like:
2,2,12,13,2 kinda thing he doesn't seem to have the same style as Payet persay with an assist each week-Barkleys style will burn you somewhere if benched.-
So you need to bench him this game week before he returns back to 12,13
Right?-
Possibly, but patterns break, change and diversify!
I'll see what pressers bring-Thanks off input Matt.
-
-
-
-
I would probably bring in Silva/Ramsey for Barks maybe.
-
I think I'll give Barks the Norwich game at least, but I think your proposal is a good Matt.
-
-
1st world problem 🙂
-
-
-
-
Team Montenegroooooo 😀
-
on a serious note. Yeah I'm currently have 7.0m for my 5th mid - most probably with a cheapo (Stas,Alli, etc.) in tehe end
-
Thinking someone like Ali or one of the Bournemouth lads might be sensible, gonna try save and reasses fwiw.
-
-
NABIL!!! Bring on the Spainish!! Sorted your 2FT yet?
-
Not yet but very close.
Kane & Stanislas/Alli/Lingard basically-
Yep not much between them. ALLI!! Good fixtures good form better scoring team.
-
Yeah slightly leaning towards him.
Just won't believe myself having 3 TOT players and only 1 ARS player 🙁-
Giroud and Ox ? Would sort that out
-
lol I prefer Rambo & Kos
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Keeping Aguero cash and ensuring all my defenders are ok in case needed while sticking with Stanislas 5th mid
-
-
Just a bit bored. No real issues (Hazard aside). Any thoughts-
Butland/McCarthy
Targett/ Kolorov/ Moreno/ Bertrand/ Richards
Ozil/ KDB/ Stansilas/ Mahrez/ Hazard
Lukaku/ Vardy/ Kane
3.8 ITB 1FT
A. Targett to Simpson (get a playing player, leave Aguero cash)
B. Bertrand to Spurs defender
C. Save-
Save
-
Thanks
-
-
C
-
Cheers

-
Hi ...assuming kun is injured I'm doing kun to lukaku on Friday...Anything else worth doing for a hit with my 5m plus?...
Team would be.....
Ddg
Kolarov vvd oshea (Francis Dawson)
Ozil mahrez kdb Delofeou (drinkwater)
Lukaku Kane ighalo -
Hazard being due must be a Buddhist karmic concept rather than a scientific one...
-
its existential.
-
Donkey in a previous life?
-
-
-
is 40 points a big deficit if most of your players are the same?
-
no, thats easily do able. Long way to go
-
Depends how many are the same but not really. Especially with so long left in the season. 1 or 2 captain decisions could cut that quickly
-
I've clawed 80 back at least twice on rivals by staying calm no hits and generally playing my own game, I rarely if ever look at others teams as I play my own game.
-
cheers guys, i was only 20 points untill i stupidly got rid of kdb for a hit when he got his haul, then got him back in a week later with sanchez's injury. thanks for the encouragement and advice.
-
-
1. KDb
2. Kane
3. Ozil
4. Deulofeu (differiencial
Who would you go to-
Currently on Kane myself but don't own KDB or Deulofeu.
Would probably be between Kane and KDB - and I'd probably still opt for Kane.-
His 2 blanks not slightly putting you off?
-
-
For captaincy I forgot to add
-
-
What to do with this squad?
Butland - Elliot
Souare - Moreno - Toby - Azpi - Cook
Mane - Fimino - Ozil - Alli - KDB
Vardy - Kane - Lukaku
Worried about Azpi, Mane & Firmino, but who to ship first?-
Mane to Ramsey?
-
Stuck between Ramsey or Mahrez for Mane....??
-
Oh, Mahrez, yes
-
-
-
-
Any news on Coutinho yet? This is all I could find.
http://www.empireofthekop.com/2015/12/09/coutinho-nearing-return-from-hamstring-injury/-
Not that I've seen. Should hear more from Klopp today or tomorrow before the EL game
-
Cheers for the link Bubz, could really do with knowing whwther he's knacked or not.
Either way I'd be surprised if he's fit enough for an intense Krimbo with Klopp
-
-
Which combo do you prefer (No City cover, already have Özil):
A) Ramsey - Ighalo
B) Ramsey - Giroud
C) KDB - Ighalo
D) Barkley - Giroud
E) Other suggestions?-
B
-
Not too much with 3 Arsenal attackers?
-
-
C
-
Silva and Deeney
-
-
If you could have any midfielder from now, who would it be?
-
Ramsey
-
-
Gomes (Myhill)
Kolarov VvD Moreno (Zouma Martin)
Mahrez Ozil KDB Hazard (WW)
Giroud Lukaku Vardy
1 FT 0.8 itb
I'm thinking of saving. I would have got Kane but I'm 0.1 shy. Could take a hit and do:
Giroud > Kane
Martin > Wolls or WW > Stanislas
Then again I could just save and do 2FT next week. Will Giroud +4 outscore Kane though?-
Looks like a save and assess next week to me
-
Thanks, this is the wise choice I feel
-
-
Giroud might not start. I'd do Giroud -> Ighalo.
-
How do you figure that? Giroud won't be rotated with all the midfield injuries it would unsettle the team too much
-
-
-
7.2 to replace Lanzini....
Wijnaldum? Arnautovic? Deulofeu?-
DLF, Arnie for differential.
-
-
Whats your Team Value and Selling Value chaps?
Mine:
Team Value: 107.3m
Selling Value: 104m-
106.4
104.0 -
Let's not talk about it 🙁
-
Please hulk this Andy. 😉
-
with every expensive option unavailable there isn't much necessity of money
-
Spot on Konig. VORP is dead, for now.
-
For now yeah. But if everyone starts firing it could get bad. Already strugging to get 4 decent mids when owning Aguero. Although part of that comes down to the money spread in my defence
-
-
I don't wanna... talk about it...

107.9. 104.8.

Best two week punt for Aguero please people??
I'm thinking there's not much better than Martial Bou (A) Norwich (H)??
I have Kane and Lukaku already.-
Bony
-
Is Bony nailed on to start both games?
-
-
Giroud
-
kun
-
-
-
Was all set for Mane > Ramsey but am worried that Countinho's ongoing injury uncertainty is gonna create problems over Crimbo
Given that Mane is at least nailed, is Coutinho > Ramsey a better bet until he's back on his wee little legs ??-
Looks cool, but would rather wait for Phillippe news.
-
Not sure his price will hold out til thursday but I may just have to grin and bear it

http://markhensongunawan.blog.com/2015/12/09/the-differentials-gw-16/
Anyone looking for cheap, quality players? Just my opinion for this week's differential
for last week's
http://markhensongunawan.blog.com/2015/12/06/are-differentials-the-key/
enjoy!!!-
Funny seeing someone mention Smith, I had him as my 5th def all season and hardly anyone had heard of him haha. I actually subbed him out for Simpson to save 0.1. Maybe I should have kept him.
-
-
Hows this look?
Any changes needed this week?
De Gea
Alderweireld Bellerin Moreno
Silva Ozil Barkley Mahrez
Kane(C) Lukaku Benteke
(Myhill, Bertrand, Watson, Huth)
4.7m in the bank
Good to go?.-
GTG
-
good to go
-
-
its for a hit but i cant wait to get the green light to press the button on Abdi to Ramsey, hopefully the turning point in a quite woeful season
-
it's a yes from me
-
Seems good to me. An occasional hit to sort your team out longer term is fine by me. Good luck
-
i wasnt looking for approval but thanks 😛

-
I really miss my GW1 pick Payet 🙁
-
i really miss my gw1 picks Mahrez and Butland
-
You ditched 'em already?? :ozil:
-
backed Chelsea to imprive and Leicester regress, hence 1.9m rank
-
Ouch. Chin up, it's still early December
-
-
-
-
I really miss my GW1 differential pick Mahrez 🙁
-
Never too late to bring back the man...
-
Never let go. I miss him being a differential

A lot of us are grieving
