How do people feel about selling off their previous prized assets such as Vardy, Kolarov etc and the loss in team value? For example selling just these two will drop my own TV by 1.2m.

TV hardly means 'nothing'. It is still relevant in many cases, it can mean having a safety net so you can absorb a price drop without it changing your SV on that player and you can not rush into a transfer that you might have done if you didn't have that extra 0.1 TV.
In the end this game is about points and not TV. Especially this season when all the bigbusters are failing
Id rather bite the bullett when they are on the decline in terms of transfers out and follow the market.
You dont want to get into a scenario when you are value committed to a player to the point that it effects your decision making on whether you can get more points elsewhere.I sold both those players this week for a loss of 1.1m TV.

Personally I think it's the fact that Alli that hinders Kane rather than Dembele specifically being the only creative provider for him. If Alli continues to play further forward and it looks like Poch is pursuing that then it might be worth looking at getting rid of Kane
