Got two fts, I want payet and Sanchez in when back,..
Should I keep Barkley or get arnie for price rises and the get rid in a couple of weeks
Yay or nay
Thanks-
Got nothing else to do I think:
team hennesey/elliot
Dawson, moreno, Daniels, walker, wolly
Barkley, mahrez, wally, alli, kdb
Kane, aguero, lukaku
2fts 0.8 itb
Thoughts-
Your problems are the same, except that I have Ozil 🙂
-
Been so stubborn on Ozil, had him in Gw 1 until 6 then got Sanchez for him on my wc and been stubborn ever since as I sold on my wc for Sanchez for 8.4
-
Well, I've owned him for a long time now and he only blanked once for me. That was last week, the week I captained him, the only time I did that -.-
-
I really am tempted to get him back, but think I will just stick with theo now and get Sanchez for theo when he is back...
-
This could go really well if Theo finds his form.
-
-
-
-
-
-
This is EXACTLY what I'm considering atm.
I'm currently on keeping Barkley (WBA away could be tougher to break than Spurs at home) and then getting Payet the week after.-
Ye exactly, the double rise of arnie is tempting me and norwich the week after, payet will take probably 2 weeks to get into the swing of things again.. Got nothing necessary to do for once...
-
Yes, this is another thing, Payet is not neccessarily going to start firing immediately. Are you considering anyone else than Arnautovic?
-
Was considering hendo/Rambo/mane/siggy as well, but none filling me with confidence, siggy could be a good one under the radar, underlying stats seem to be improving... But the double rise of arnie is what is tempting me... You?
-
Henderson or the Arsenal mids, but I can't afford them. Maybe Tadic, but I was never too serious about him. I'm sceptical about Arnie's prospects for the WBA game and Norwich could be tricky, Barkley, on the other hand, might just surprise me with a goal against Tottenham in a 2-2 draw.
I actually found myself in a situation where I don't need to change anything. I saved a FT a couple of gameweeks ago, did Moreno to Dann in the next one (Moreno got a CS as well) and I did Gosling > Stanislas for this one. Once again I have nothing to change neccessarily, except Ake maybe. I am planning to buy Ward in the next week, but I don't need him this week yet.-
Ye true, although arnie has seriously impressed me, he looks so dangerous every week and the double rise is swinging me, also having Kane and Barkley maybe a bit much as could be a low scoring game with a solid Spurs defence...
-
True, it could turn out quite bad for me if it was low scoring (Alder, Kane, Barkley, Lukaku).
-
Ye exactly, may go alli over Barkley although that doesn't help... Think I will go arnie double rise and norwich next week looks appealing... Then sell on for payet, Barkley has done me well though

Which two would you bench?
A) Toby (eve)
B) Bellerin (NEW)
C) Dann (CHE)
D) Wolly (wba)
E) Simpson (BOU)
Cheers-
A and C

A and C

This

A, D

A+E
-
Was thinking A and C myself, thanks all.
-
-
Özil vs Mahrez for captaincy this coming gw will rack my brain.
-
I'd go Ozil. See how Mahrez looks tomorrow then you'll have a better idea
-
Mahrez is my thinking. See what happens tomorrow though
-
Most of Mahrez's big hauls have come at home, bear in mind
-
Not true. 5 hauls in last 8 games 4 away
-
-
I'm going for Giroud again. Surely he's got to score big once.
-
Not explosive enough IMO
-
Neither was Ozil until today.
-
-
I think it's a week we have to be dullards with our captaincy choice this week because of the high ownership of Ozil and Mahrez coupled with their fixtures so juicy
-
-
On Mahrrz right now Tony b
-
Thanks all.
-
-
lads sell zouma or keep?
-
ZOUMA TO JOHNSON?
-
I'm thinking the same.
-
-
-
Butland (wba) // (McCarthy)
Dann (CHE), TOBY (eve), Bellerin (NEW) // (Nyom (MCI), Targett)
Worth upgrading any on the bench for GW20? -
Was scouting Payet in the West Ham injury news section on their website and realized Alex Song and The Weeknd are the same person.
-
Racist
-
😆
-
*laughing also at "scouting Payet on West Ham website".
-
😛 I saw Carp's post and went to the website to get satisfaction of seeing him and The Weeknd training 🙂
-
-
-
-
Got Arnie in tonight to avoid he price rise but just thought, this the 1st week of 2nd wildcard so the price rise sites will probably be way off
-
Geoff Shreeves here. DDG sellers how are you feeling right now? Are you aware of the fact that he got 2 baps tonight?
-
As a DDG bencher, not good
-
Benched him for Elliott. Luckily Elliott got injured in the warmups lol
-
Lucky 😀 I played Butland over him which in hindsight was never going to pay off
-
-
-
-
Haven't seen a minute of football today. Anywhere I can watch MOTD or something? Not iPlayer it seems
-
Yeah you can. Just watch bbc1 live and rewind
-
Or this, but it goes after a while
-
Can't do that on the tv app
-
can on the bbc website, can rewind live tv up to 3 hours
-
🙁 watching David Blaine on channel 4+1

Sorry, it's not up yet

-
-
Howard to Butland now?
-
Everton fans would bite their hands off for that move
-
No, he has tough fixtures
-
Hes fixture proof
-
I'm sure that's what the people that played him over Henny or Myhill this GW thought
-
Who do you suggest then sir?
-
-
-
-
I would
-
-
With the template so strong this season is a bit of a staring match, the challenge is not to blink and sabotage yourself buy wanting a differential so hard you mix it up lose ground.
Like Wally & Rambo (Who are not bad picks by any stretch), but a lot of people got them in for Barkley who got that assist for all his myriad owners. They will say it's for long term, but blink too soon?-
Barkley is one of the jammiest picks in recent memory (and I got his two biggest hauls)
-
He is the new Ramsey
-
Likewise, got him in for injured Payet and caught two big hauls. But surely it's form now.
His points looks over the last half dozen look very similar to the kind of thing Payet was doing, a double figure haul here, a blank, assist, blank, that kind of thing. Ticking over.-
The problem is the 4th mid position is so hard to nail down that Barkley looks amazing, I still wouldn't want to go into the next few fixtures with him and Lukaku
-
-
-
-
Kolarov, Bellerin, Evans, Nyom, Wolscheid
Best Kolarov replacement? Can afford anyone.-
Dann the man
-
Ward or Darmian imo
-
If money isn't an issue then Smalling from United
-
Not Smalling from Villa?
-
-
-
Toby or Souare
-
-
I need more than 3 Arsenal!!! Newcastle are absolutely appalling.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CXVqRFWW8AAIr5e.png-
Giroud Ozil and Ramsey?
-
Ideally Def/Özil/Giroud but Giroud slot is too valuable for me.
-
I'm stuck with the clumsy frenchman unfortunately
-
-
-
What is this showing?
-
xG is expected goals. The dots are situated where a team shoots from so the bigger the dot the higher the chance of a goal.
This one in particular shows Newcastle are abysmal.
-
-
Brom had sooo many shots today
-
Bellerin (C)
-
-
Let's not forget

#DoubleGameweekPreparation-
wow thats comforting to know.. some serious ground still to be made.. thanks
-
I'm in the top 10k and I ain't used any Bow, bodes well for me hopefully.
-
Your going to eat it up the form your in.
-
Hopefully Tony, getting (c) right is huge in a template crowded top 100k, long way to go so playing it safe/simple.
Thanks mate for your support, appreciate it big time.-
Your welcome man!
-
-
-
Indeed 🙂 best of luck HVT, could be a massive season if it continues for you 🙂
I've dropped to 95k tonight, with all 3 chips remaining.
Aguero (C), KDB, Mahrez and Vardy left 😕 really need Kun to deliver-
Cheers bud, you need an Aguero goal assisted by Kdb for sure-Wouldn't rule it out, fingers crossed for you even tho it will hurt me but I wanna spread the love 🙂
-
-
-
May as well not include AoA really
-
Agreed. Some weeks all out defence can work.
-
An epic chip that got me 1 extra point
-
Hope it doesn't make an appearance next year
-
-
GW38 still looks a good time to use it though, historically defence goes out the window as teams look to scramble for a jump in rank
-
-
Didnt realise bench boost and triple cap were that highly used. Gives us all hope
-
And I'd say from the overall, a good 15-20% of the teams are dead teams.
-
The prob is we cant use them all on a Double GW.
Not sure how valuable they actually will be.-
Likelihood is there will be more than 1 DGW, we'll hopefully know after the FA rounds progress
-
-
Looking forward to the extra 2 points from TC and 10 points from BB
-
Was thrilled to see the guy above me in my cash league play his bench boost this week for Butland, Alli, Francis and Toby.
1,1,1 aaand 1.-
ouchhhhhhh
-
-
-
Cup battle..So close..
42-44 as it stands.. a brutal slog.
I need City to do it!!
1. KDB, Aguero (c)
2. Coutinho, Vardy + 4
Who wins..-
Hopefully, you.
-

-
Mane out who in?
-
Ozil, Mahrez or KDB
-
-
If your captin doesn't play and none of you bench do you still get a vice come in for him?
-
Vice doesn't come from your bench but your previously picked VC
-
-
Any double risers this week fellas?
-
Arnie seems like he will on fpl statistics
-
My money is on Arnie
-
Arnie for sure. Maybe Ozil
-
Wildcards will make double risers tricky
-
-
34k > 6k in last 2gws, well pleased-Patience is a virtue!
-
Hell of a rank. Congrats
-
Back to back captain successes!
Mahrez, eh?! -
Anyone you were particularly patient with?
-
Nice work good luck
-
Williams even tho I benched him today!
Kdb seems 'essential' (differential)
Vardy/Mahrez early
Lukaku for his run
Never owned Ighalo
Preferring Kane to Aguero of late
Butland
Özil
I'm starting to see that defence is where the differential is now in a crowded Front 8, my 2 ft today were Dann/Hennessy-paid off.
Avoiding hits and not panicking.
Do the simple things simply!
-
-
Superb season HVT 🙂 keep your jets cool and top 1k or higher (gulp) within your grasp.
-
144k >> 61k >> 46k 🙂
-
-
Feckin Koscielny. That is all. Good night.
-
Love Gabriel. That is all.
-
At least he didn't miss 1 yard away from goal!!!
-
-
Was Zouma merely rested on Boxing Day and subsequently played again as usual today
Or is he a rotation risk?-
A mix of both I'd say.
-
Solid call imo but new manager in now so hard to call.
-
-
Another reason to get Arnie in, albeit a minor one, is COC and the eventual DGW, if Stoke make the final.
-
What about the blank which comes with it?
-
Have a strong bench. Or, the blank may come AFTER the DGW, which allows you to sell.
-
That's where Your 5th mid Alli comes in! 😉
-
-
-
Does Captain Kane this week count as successful? It obviously wasn't a complete disaster
-
No. Ozil and Lukaku smashed it for the top 10k.
-
Depends what happens tomorrow.
-
Big success Celebrate ur ass off unless you have work tomoro like me.
. -
Certainly more successful than Ramsey...
-
Yeah, 7 points ain't bad
-
Yes. He played well enough but it just didn't turn into good pts...or rather big pts.
-
Annoying he should be allocated all those points
-
-
Rose or Walker best option for def 5.2 to spend?
Rest of defence
Butland (Elliot)
Moreno, Bellerin Wollshied Simpson -
Had enough of captaining different options. Ramsey (c) last 2 weeks running argh. Casuals win.
-
Lukaku every week.
-
-
Can aguero make more than 30 points?
If yes i will lose my ML 🙁-
no
-
Thanks mate. got my confidence back 🙂
-
-
-
Few brilliant move from me this week
-Changed captain to Ramsey from Ozil after I saw Ramsey highest on some stat table and talk about rest
-Got Bertrand for Kolarov( at some point he had cs+2bonus=8 points but few minutes later yellow card, 2 goals conceded and ZERO points!
-I almost did Schmeichel to Hennessey (7 points) to bench Butland this game(1 point) instead of the move above
-Benched Smalling instead who got 6 points
-Benched Barkley(ok Vardy hasnt failed yet but I had him on bench at some point) -
Myhill to Butland worth doing?
-
Anyone selling Barkley? Keep saying I will get rid, but ticking along nicely...
-
Thanks mate 🙂 got my confidence back
-
Not selling yet, but he might soon be part of a Payet comeback plan, or Kun-plan
-
-
Very quick poll here:
A) Arnautovic
B) Alli
No Spurs or Stoke players in my squad (except for Butland ofcourse 😀 )-
Depends whether you need the extra money Alli gives you. I think Arnie will score more points.
-
Already 7 itb so not really 😀
