How am I looking, I'm itching to WC I'm -4 already and don't like my defence

    WC or Hold tight

    Butland
    Bellerin Souare Azpi
    KDB Ozil Mahrez Arnautovic
    Kane Lukaku Aguero

    Hennessey Antonio Moreno Evans

Would probably WC to something like this

    Butland (Hennessey)
    Walker Creswell Azpi (Simpson, Nyom)
    KDB Ozil Payet Mahrez Alli
    Kane Ighalo Aguero

With cash in the bank for Sacnhez return

    1. Francescoli

definitely no need to WC. hold fire sir.

We underestimate Yaya a bit here on ffs, as I see it.

Yaya's points looks a bit more unsustainable from a stats perspective

Which of the front 8 sits out?

Payet (Bou), Alli (LEI), Mahrez (Tot), KDB (EVE), Ozil (Liv)
Aguero (EVE), Kane (LEI), Lukaku (Mci)

Apologies but a rare RMT from me, your feedback appreciated folks:

    Hennessy (Myhill)
    Toby Bellerin Wolly (Moreno Dawson)
    Alli Ozil Payet Ayew (Mahrez)
    kun (c) Kane Lukaku

Any changes for this week? Should I be looking at Ayew out for someone else? Should I play AOA to avoid benching Mahrez?

    Toby / Souare / Bellerin / Cook / Moreno*
    Alli / Mahrez / Ozil / Arnie / KDB
    Kun / Lukaku / Vardy

    2ft 1.0itb

Stupid to just hold on to Vardy? He migth just come back and score a lot of goals in a couple of weeks. Just do Moreno -> Cresswell, and hold the other ft?

Or just do Vardy -> Iggo and keep Moreno on the bench?

    1. Jape

Vardy > Iggy and keep Moreno on the bench. He's cheap enough.

      Or you could upgrade Cook?

Cook is my 5th defender and I`ve never played him. He has also scored 6+ in three of the last six. Think I just do Vardy -> Iggy, then. Thanks for reply!

Any thoughts on security of starts for Antonio. Seems like the real deal. Does Payet's return impact his playing time?

    1. Esraj
      10 years, 9 months ago

As long as Lanzini and Moses are out, I think he is pretty nailed on. Depends on his performance though. If he blanks 3/4 games, Bilic might drop him. Short term option imo.

      1. LE GOD(C)-AMERICAN DYCHO-(1…
        10 years, 9 months ago

I have him as a short term option to cover Arnautovic tough fixtures. 5.2 could work out as a 5th mid.

From what I've read on here he's fairly nailed at mo especially with Lanzini being it.
Think Payet return will be a positive for Antonio as he will create a lot more chances

    1. HammersFan

    What to do ?
Have 0.4 in the bank and 2 ft. Happy with my front 8

Oxford to rangel or ward to walschield ?

    Cech, Hennessey
    Alderweireld, Ward, Moreno, Simpson, Oxford

    1. Jape
      10 years, 9 months ago

      Maybe upgrade Moreno?

      Keep Ward

      1. Jebiga
        10 years, 9 months ago

Think moreno is season keeper I bought him for 4.6
Another option is hennessey and simpson to rudd and walshield ?

        1. Jape
          10 years, 9 months ago

I agree he is, but I feel like you don't have enough money spent in defence.

Could upgrade Simpson to Watford? I'd also keep Hennesey for the time being.

          1. Jebiga
            10 years, 9 months ago

🙂 need to ditch hennesey for 3.8 or 3.9 gk to upgrade simpson.

Oxford to Rangel seems best then haha

  13. matiakez
    10 years, 9 months ago

Do i widlcard? plenty i'd liek to change...

    Bultand Henn
    Zouma Soaure Toby (Moreno,B Jones)
    Mahrez Ozil KDB Cout Barkley
    Kane Vardy Igahlo

There's six/seven i could switch there however don't if i'm panicing. I've got two frees so whatever happens Cout and Vardy will be out but could be tempted to take a -4 in order to enable Aguero.

    1. FFFrog
      10 years, 9 months ago

I'd take out hennessey Moreno Jones coutinho and vardy but none of them are desperate so I would just use the transfers

      1. matiakez
        10 years, 9 months ago

Yeah I'd lose all of those on WC, if i did it.

but i'm sort of thinking now just Vardy/Cout and perhaps one other.

I've pretty much missed the price rise/fall boat also this week.

    1) Shots on target
    2) Shots in box
    3) Aby other you think?

I was all set on shots in box as it shows the quality of defence pressing and tackling but was alarmed by how many a good defensive side like Tottenham conceded SIB! (9 vs Nor(Home)

It'd be interesting to do a retrospective article based on big numbers. I bet they pay off a lot more than we give them credit for.

Willian and Siggy have shown great improvement these past couple of weeks...and boom.
We do tend to concentrate on the fails (Coutinho) more than the successes sometimes.

I don't think either are bad picks, in fact both could be inspired. Both have shown to be form players that get a goal and go on a run. I love FFS but the forums are always promoting last week's performers; sometimes you need to follow your own gut.

I don't think Bale would be content with Europa League. Why do you think so?

I'm pretty confident United finish top 4, in case you mean summer. I don't think it would happen this month, wouldn't he be cup tied?

See above though. Also I have to imagine there's some displeasure at the fact he's now had 3 managers in a little over 2 years.

ITK's get it right sometimes, but it just doesn't make any sense career wise for a player like Bale.

Why do you think? United are a couple players and a competent manager from returning to stride. (not our win all the time stride, but a legitimate contender one).

He's also a welsh wizard who could come over to be our new one and be back in England. Why not the biggest club in England?

Because Bale can choose literally between any club in the world that can afford him, so why chose a club that _might_ return to glory. He's the kind of player that is very determined about his career, so they'd at least have to prove themselves a proper side again, and get rid of that godawful LVG. In my opinion at least.

Trying to say this with as little hubris as possible but we are literally too big to fail. It's not a matter of if we return to glory but when.

Whole season form and Mahrezs ability for away returns?

Signs points to benching Mahrez, and I've seen the terrors of that going bad firsthand here 😐

So what to do with McCarthy (CPL) now? Just hold, and suck it up for Rudd or someone come WC time?

i'm in the same position mate.

I'm just holding until WC or I have a free transfer going spare. Too many other things to try and juggle and as long as your other keeper is nailed on then I think it's best to just keep him.

Yeah, Butland is solid. Would only have played my 2nd GK for his Everton match of the last 6

    3. Sjaugen

Maybe Kane. If Dembele is out, it might come down to a pen or nothing
Vardy, maybe. Form is out the window.
Costa, I don't see it. But I didn't see the Stoke game either. WBA were solid the two previous

By now i mean wait until he's about to go up / coutinho go down. No point until then as if it means you get to see the FA cup games first then its worth it.

Keep an eye on the price changes however so you don't miss out.

Is it right that you keep your second wild card as long as you want this year instead of having to use in jan?

    3. Pasqualinho
      10 years, 9 months ago

Right as in it's the rules - but I don't like it. It's just not right for the game.

You reckon? The jan wild card was always a bit of a joke.

        1. Pasqualinho
          10 years, 9 months ago

I do. It takes out a much needed dilemma - before we needed to decide whether we take an early-season WC or wait for the DGW. Now we don't have that decison to make - so everyone who's paying attention makes an early-season one - this encourages an early template which is not something that enhances the game for me. Agreed that January WC meant that we had a strong template team in January - but this rule change now moves that forward to September. And when DGW comes around everyone's teams migrate to the DGW template. I like teams being diverse, and so am not a fan of the 2 WCs.
