The curtains are drawn on Saturday’s Premier League action as West Ham United and Manchester City clash at the Boleyn Ground. The Hammers’ eight-match unbeaten streak was arrested at the hands of Newcastle United last Gameweek, while the Sky Blues have won three and drawn two of their previous five match-ups.

With eight goals and the third-most shots on target (22) over the last four Gameweeks, the Hammers boast one of the league’s form attacks. Additionally, Slaven Bilic’s recruits limited their opposition to four goals, illustrating the balance in their play. In terms of West Ham’s home form, they haven’t lost on their own turf since Gameweek 3, which suggests that the visitors are in for a challenging afternoon.

Man City chalked up more shots inside the box (46) than any side over the last four Gameweeks but ranked in the bottom six for shot-conversion rate (7.9%). On the defensive end, the Sky Blues conceded the joint-fewest goals (one) and the fifth-fewest shots inside the box (23), underlining their improvement at the back. Investors in their offense might be concerned that they rank in the bottom five for goals in away matches (10).

So we have had 12 points from 12 for teams currently outside the top 10. If we had a bit more consistency at finishing off the bottom teams we would really be pushing for the top in this topsy-tervy season.

I can see Aguero getting nudged out of the baps here.

    Sigh

It's sad seeing a player like Silva looking so out of sorts. City are now just hitting balls past him up to Aguero.

Yep - why are City looking so lacklustre? Aguero looks on it but the rest seem laboured.

Please belittle Jonty on the podcast this week, his attack last week was unfair. New tactics should always be pursued, otherwise what is the point?

(Even if ultimately going without Augero will turn out to be a bad idea for us)

Err not sure I'll have much to go on. The Aguero template with cheap defence and Alli in midfield looks likely to perform well (thanks in the main to Alli). I should have played Fuchs - I had the points in my squad - just felt Toby was more likely.

I think Delph and Yaya in the middle are lacking the creativity, They need someone more creative here to start the attacks which will let Silva get involved more ...

Look at GW 27. This is when the League Cup Final will be played. Whichever, two of Liverpool, Everton, City and Stoke will have a double GW, in addition to their opponents in GW27.

No one knows when that DGW will take place yet.

KDB or Mahrez to make way for a Kun - Kane - Lukaku front line? KDB is very very average in FPL terms for the funds he ties up.
