Following a week of endless tinkering for a slew of Wildcarders, West Ham United and Arsenal provide the first test out our best-laid plans at the Boelyn Ground.

Having scored six answered goals in their last two match-ups, the Gunners are on the charge heading into this London derby. Meanwhile, the Hammers could extend their unbeaten streak to seven matches with a result on home turf.

No team mustered more goals over their last four matches than Arsenal (nine), who profited from the league’s best shot-conversion rate (16%).  Further bolstering their attacking prospects, Arsene Wenger’s troops chart joint-top for goals (29) and top for shots inside the box (155) in away matches. On the defensive end, only Manchester City lay claim to more clean sheets on the road than Arsenal (nine compared to seven).

The Irons fared well in the final third across their previous four outings, charting joint-third for goals (eight) and second for set-piece attempts (21). On the other hand, their defence failed to impress, conceding six goals, the joint-third-most shots inside the box (38) and the third-most big chances (nine). Nonetheless, Slaven Bilic’s men have proved a tough nut to crack at home, given that only five teams have conceded fewer goals (16).

For those interested in what the top top players did this week, Jay Egersdorff (right up there in the HoF) has gone Aguero-less on wildcard.

26 points ahead of him in my ML, I'm #1 and he's #2 - could well decide who comes top.

Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is set to be handed an audition to become Antonio Conte’s new No 1 as doubts over Thibaut Courtois future linger.

Sportsmail understands the Bosnian keeper is likely to feature in a clutch of Chelsea’s remaining seven fixtures this season.

Begovic’s first opportunity could come in Saturday's clash against Swansea, with Courtois fearing the axe.

So that's the nervous look at how my ML rivals have set up for this week.

League 1 he's wild carded and clearly set up for GW34. I do like my team more but game on!

League 2 he didn't wildcard, abs triple captained Courtois. He must've made a mistake or missed the deadline surely.

The Grand National is run at 5.15 sandwiched between the afternoon kick offs wildcard madness and the Man C v West Brom game.

Many Clouds was an impressive winner last year after having run in th Cheltenham Gold Cup. A powerful traveller who goes on any ground he is sure to go well.

Silviniaco Continue brings Grade 1 winning form to the table but the trip is very much an unknown.

The Druid's Nephew was travelling as well as anything last year when unseating 5 from home. He bypassed Cheltenham this year and has been trained specifically for this race.

Shutthefrontdoor led until the run in last year until fading into 5th. He has been the one for the money this morning.

Goonyella represents the Irish challenge and has a second in the Scottish National on his CV.

Saint Are was second last year and is primed again for a big run.

The Last Samurai won the trial at Doncaster beating The Druid's Nephew 10l over 3m 2f .

Overall I think the one to back is Goonyella who will relish any further rain

    Good luck.
