Swansea City and Liverpool begin Sunday’s Premier League action as they do battle at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans need to restore some pride in the wake of two heavy losses on the bounce, while the Reds could extend their unbeaten streak to six matches with a well-rounded performance in Wales.

Swansea came up short in the final third across their previous four outings, recording just three goals and the second-fewest shots on target (11). That trend could be set to continue when you discover that they rank third-bottom for goals (16) and bottom for shots on target (52) in home clashes. On the defensive end, the Welsh club conceded the fourth-most goals (nine) and the joint-second-most big chances (12) in their last four fixtures.

Liverpool boasted the league’s most effervescent attack over their last four match-ups, charting top for goals (12), top for attempts (83) and top for shots on target (29). The Merseysiders also rank fourth for goals (28) and third for shots on target (85) in away fixtures. Only Manchester City have surrendered fewer shots inside the box in road matches than Liverpool (88 compared to 108), which suggests that the hosts may struggle to manufacture clear-cut chances.

Oh my Klopp why didn't you rest Clyne as well. Atleast I'd get Rose off the bench 🙁

I can remember when Mick McCarthy got fined by the FA for selecting a much weakened team against Man Utd at OT, so he could save his first teamers to face a fellow relegation candidate the following game.

I expect Klopp to face the same punishment. This 'team' he's put out is a disgrace. Doesn't look anywhere near the required level to compete in the PL

That was a disgraceful fine though. You register a team and play whatever players you like once they're registered. Yet again the FA taking money from clubs unjustifiably.

The rules are different now. He has a maximum squad he can pick from and can choose whoever he likes. Who is to say what his best team is? Some judge?

It is not for the FA to pick the match day starting elevens.

Rules were changed to allow managers to rotate within their 25-man squad, Klopp is going beyond that selecting 4-5 youngsters outside of this. He did it against Bournemouth too and got no punishment.

Don't trust liverpool player for GW anymore with Europa league still in Klopp's mind. Even in DGW37, the best player will start only for Chelsea match and that is still a difficult match to win. Sturidge can't score with this starting eleven.
