Fantasy Football Scout memberships for 2016/17 are now available for the pre-season price of just £12.50 and, as a bonus, they come packaged with additional Euro 16 statistics.

Last season’s memberships expired on Wednesday June 1 but you can now renew to get access to the members area.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to register an account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

While our Members league couldn’t quite claim a third consecutive FPL champion, we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of this season’s Members League – finish third in the overall rankings. Ed recently cited the Members area as a factor in his superb season and we hope we can help him and other Fantasy managers to successful campaigns in 2016/17.

As an added and timely bonus this season, we’re delighted to announce that, as of today, our members will have access to a wealth of statistics to help steer their Euro 16 Fantasy selections as part of the membership package.

We’ve secured Opta data, not only for the tournament itself, which begins on June 10, but also from the Qualifying Rounds and also more than 12 months of international friendlies involving the participating nations. This includes all the recent friendly matches and all those played right up to the tournament kick-off.

As far as we know, this data cannot be found collated in this form anywhere else on the net, giving our members a potential advantage when it comes to their Euro 16 Fantasy selections.

Members can switch between competitions to mine the data using an array of tables which break down a huge variety of statistics by position. Our comparison tools for players and teams can also be used to make head-to-head comparisons – a vital tool when it comes to decision making.

Filters can be applied to take into account only the last two, four and six matches played by a team or player and the match dashboard offers individual analysis of each match, together with charts which plot average positions of players and match events like shots on goal and chances created.

Members can also get started creating their own custom tables based on the data and sharing them for public use via comments on the site.

We will be producing a preview movie highlighting what is available very soon.

We’ve still a few rough edges to iron out with some presentation elements – namely missing squad numbers and profile pics – but we wanted to get this out to you now in order to give you as much time as possible to utilise the data and use it to shape your Euro 16 Fantasy thinking.

Just to stress, this Euro 16 offering comes packaged with the regular Fantasy Football Scout membership. If you sign up today you will get access to the Euro 16 statistics and all the usual Premier League statistics and tools for the 2016/17 campaign once that gets underway.

This starts with access to our members season ticker tool on or around June 15 with the announcement of the Premier League fixtures, with our Rate My Team tool and Player Projections to follow once the Fantasy Premier League player list is confirmed.

Membership will increase to £15.00 on conclusion of the first weekend of the Premier League season.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members area is also available here.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the FFS team and develop further.

In the last few months we were able to roll out a new look for the site and, once we’ve completed the improvements to the Members Area Euro data, we will be going live with a number of changes to the redesign. This includes re-establishing a full desktop view for mobile and tablet users and improving access for users on those platforms – as well as a number of tweaks to the desktop version following your recent feedback.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hello All,

A technical question. I've been busy since just before the end of the season and I usually do a full season
summary for our league, however I logged into FPL today and it seems to be already under maintenance.

Is there a way to still check the league tables, or am I too late?

    Thanks!

You should be able to access the tables, etc. just not login. Do you remember your FPL ID? You should be able to go to your history page: fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/XXXX/history/ and access the league that way.

      1. So so bad. We can only pray it was an experiment never to be repeated (Kane out wide and taking corners/wide freekicks, Vardy out wide on the other side, Alli left midfield, Rooney trying to play every position and failing... Hilariously poor)

      2. Maybe Dier? Nobody else based on last night. A sensible formation and player selection would change that though.

      1. Jafalad
        • 16 Years
        9 years, 11 months ago

I don't get why Kane was taking corners and Vardy out wide. If I was playing centre back, that would happy for them to play outside the box.

I guess Roy has to work on a few things. Might still keep Kane though.

If we revert back to a system that suits the players we have available I think Kane is a really good pick. Sadly I'm not sure if that will happen.

The reason we have Kane taking free kicks, is that there is no specialist on the deadball in the team. The days when Milner used to take corners are long gone, and now he is at best, average.

This is a total management failure, and occurred at the moment of picking the squad.

Depends if you think he'll do that in the tournament. Personally I'm steering clear of England players - I have no faith that Roy will do the sensible thing and pick personnel that work in any given formation.

It harks back to the days of playing Scholes left midfield with a Gerrard/Lampard CM pairing. No courage to bench a good player who doesn't fit the system.

Roy keeps on winning but I am worried about the tactics used last night.

Rooney playing so far forward meant both Kane and Vardy had to play out of position with Alli not really able to push forward too much.

I know Rooney is going to play but I think we need to use him in a different way. Either at no.10 with Kane through the middle, Vardy left and Lallana/Sterling right or back at CM and let Alli play no.10.

I know Vardy would still be out of position but he's at least quick and it would allow Kane to play through the centre.

Morning all. Just rejoined for the new season. Certainly some eye catching stats in the members area for the Euro's...!

Couple of quick q as my team is almost settled... Have 0.5 burning a whole since I swapped Hart for Patricio...

Giaccherini or a 5.5 def? Thinking Juan Fran or back to my first pick McAuley. I reckon he will have significant goal threat in the group games as NI don't have much elsewhere... Top defender for goals in qualy too.

    Rakitic or Peresic?

Matuidi or another mid? For 7.5 if I keep Gia, or 7.0 if I do the above swap...?

    Cheers.

    Played 51
    Won 31
    Draw 13
    Lost 7
    Win % 60.8
    PPG 2.08

These are ridiculously impressive figures. Only Fabio Capello and Alf Ramsey has a better win % with only Capello having a higher PPG.

I think the media really need to get off Roys back. Winning and playing poorly > losing and playing well.

The stats are good but his decision making isn't. Leaving Drinkwater and Townsend out, and taking Barkley who probably won't get a game and Wilshere and Henderson who aren't fully fit was a mistake.

What was he thinking last night?! He essentially had 3 people out of position to accommodate Rooney at no. 10. Play Alli there instead!

doesn't matter. Winning against terrible/poor/average teams in qualifying is expected. Look at what happened in the last 2 Championships.

2012 - looked decent enough getting out of the group, and then had no ideas at all against Italy. QF

2014 - absolutely terrible performance, any other manager of the major nation would've been sacked after that.

exactly. Compare with the Netherlands Van Marwijk took NL to the world cup final in 2010, but failure to get out of the group in 2012 cost him his job. It's not as if Hodgson even succeeded at Euro 2012, he didn't even have credit in the bank!

Most of the games are friendlies or qualifiers. At the last world cup he failed to win a single game and at Euro 2012 he won 2 games...so in all competative tournament football (not including qualifiers) he's won 2 games. Qualifiers don't mean much given the standard of most opponents. Misleading stats imo

With the players out of position to accommodate Rooney, fairly boring football and a 1-0 win he's morphed into LvG and LvG did great at the world cup so we're sorted! 🙂

    Patricio - Sommer
    Bonucci - Juanfran - Denayer - Hector - Dragovic
    Perisic - Sigurdsson - Junuzovic - Grosicki - Hamsik
    Muller - Giroud - Morata

I'd like tog et Rodriguez in at the back but I don't know where to find the extra £1 mil.

He's a luxury over Weiss / Mak but don't let the stats fool you, he's Slovakia's talisman and best player, and he's quite attacking. May not have kept pace with Mak's points per 90 in friendlies / qualifying but when it comes to the final tournament, the best players on each team generally come to the fore.

I meant for Slovakia. For Slovakia , he plays deeper. I am thinking of getting Gotze + KDB in midfield . So Mak is really just an enabler. Hamsik far better player.

Don't think Rafa Silva will play, so you could try raise some funds to upgrade him by downgrading Lewa>Morata and upgrading Rafa Silva to someone like Mak and Junozovic.

I think he does. That's a tough one, I think Giroud will get more goals. 8M midefielders include Siugrdsson (also good at free kicks), Payet (not sure he's starting yet, between him and Martial on left wing), Iniesta and Turan.

      Think I'd go with A.

I checked set pieces for Poland lately and I think you may want to reconsider your table.
Against Holland Arek Milik gave an assist from the corner and shot twice from free kicks (close to score in both occasions )
Grosicki mostly on corners but they are 50/50 with Milik (depends on foot - Grosik right, Milik left. In fact Milik was much better.

I checked also the penalty issue. Blasczykowski isn't the one who takes them. Polish coach Nawalka had 4 guys chosen to take a PK, the first one was Lewandowski. Blaszczykowski wasn't even in the group of 4. During the game Lewandowski decided to give a penalty to Kuba as he did not score a goal for 2 years in national team and he used to take penalties earlier.

here is the source, unfortunalty in polish, but I saw you are quite good in the language 🙂
