Dugout Discussion – Belgium vs Italy

Monday’s final Euro 2016 tie sees Fifa’s second highest ranked side Belgium square up to 2012 Euros finalist Italy.

Both sides come into the match in confident mood having topped their qualifying groups and ending their pre-tournament friendly preparations unbeaten. While Belgium defeated Norway 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Finland, Italy recorded wins against Scotland and Finland.

Marc Wilmots’ team are set to rely heavily on Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who created more chances than any other player during qualification. Along with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard he was also the Red Devils’ top scorer in qualifying with five goals.

Antonio Conte’s Italy were one of only four sides, alongside England, Austria and Romania, to be undefeated in qualifying. They did this despite not having a regular goal scorer, with Southampton striker Graziano Pelle the Azzuri’s top scorer in qualifying with just three goals.

    --Rami Giacherrini Juanfran--
    Stanciu Payet Alli DeBruyne
    ------Muller Nolito Ronaldo----

    Patricio Alaba Dragovic Guerriero

Any ideas? I'm thinking to save or possibly Rami to Dier

Posted earlier and got 2 replies stating France play Albania, but quite fancy Albania to score against them. Would also like to get OOP Dier in asap, before price rises price me out.

Can you see any other potential transfers?

Save. 2 FT for third round could be handy if already qualified teams rest players you have.

Would you swap a 2 pointer for Guerriero?

I'm 99% gonna do it, but just getting feedback. My thoughts are its only 2 points, if he don't play I only lose 2 points. If he plays I can gain or lose nothing immediately. Just a cleanie earns me a 4 and a chance of an assist or even goal for more. Matchday1 has been the round of defenders goals after all.

Who are the attackers I should be looking to bring in? It legitimately seems there are no good ones. I mean there's Giroud but beyond that Im thinking its worth keeping it cheap and investing in defense and mid where the points are

inb4 muller hat trick. Have you watched the games? If you geniunely think giroud was the only good attacker youre only looking at the fantasy points

Still don't think it is a casual move to bet on the best individual player at the tournament.

Keep Juanfran's points as captain or switch to Ronaldo? What do we think?

68 points with Junuzovic (C) left is a okay first round huh? With players missing points like Peresic, Morata and Dzemaili..
