Saturday evening serves up one last encounter as Croatia take on Portugal for a place in the quarter finals.

Anti Cacic’s side are slight favourites for this one after coming from behind to defeat defending champions Spain 2-1 last time out.

Certainly, the Group D winners pose plenty of close-range threat. Croatia notched five times, netting twice in each of the last two, and were ranked joint-third along with Vincente del Bosque’s side for efforts inside the opposition box over the group stages.

Croatia’s late capitulation against Czech Republic in Matchday 2, where they threw away a two-goal advantage with 15 minutes remaining, offers hope to Portugal.

Fernando Santos’ side arrived at the Euros as a defensive-minded outfit but have fired more attempts on goal than any other side. Given that Cristiano Ronaldo registered an incredible 30 of his nation’s 70 attempts, the Real Madrid man will surely be a pivotal figure if Portugal are to progress.

    Can twist out perisic and Ramsey for sure - template but then don't have space for the others... Had double Wales D Ralph G, bale Ronny and Grosiki. Defo playing KDB and probably payet so means Rami on bench - should have just Dier instead of him d'oh

    In addition, an attempt which rebounds from the goal frame, the goalkeeper or a defender can be considered as an assist, if it leads directly to a goal.
    When they say attempt they mean shot not pass they say nothing about a pass coming off of a defender

    Turkey defender changed the direction of the ball and that can't happen if you award an assist for a pass. Shot on target and keeper saving it doesn't matter if the ball goes the other way.

        Well I live in Speyside so I have access to quite a wide range or Scotch whisky compared to your average place. I haven't tried it before I sent Mrs Cheese to the local whisky emporium with the remit to get me something I haven't had before and that is what she came back with.

  - First match: Early doors it looked like Poland would run away with it, however they got rubbish as the game matured, Shaqiri scored a cracking goal but alas, it wasn't to be as the Swiss exit on penalties.
  
  - Second match: ZZZZzzzzZZZzOwnGoalzzzzzZZZZzzzz... huhhwhaa... Is it over yet? What time is it?
  
  - Third match: See: "Second match". No attempts on either goal until the 119th minute, when a moment of Nanilliance sent Portugal through... Undeservedly, I might add, but this was definitely a case of neither team truly deserving to progress to anywhere but the poolside.

    Yeah it was his first loss, but he too hadn't thought anyone decent. He thought bums and then made a massive leap. The bookies didn't give him a chance. There are plenty of fighters out there that would at least have a chance against Joshua, even if they don't win.

      Aye i don't know a huge deal about him or boxing in general but it's true the heavyweight division is a joke compared to what it used to be.. for example Haye last couple of opponents would be proper bums imo they actually look like they have been pulled off the street or out of the nearest pub lol guess that why they fighting on Dave 🙂 AJ just making it look very very easy and i don't see it going any differently against Fury or anyone else imo.. real deal

  Despite not picking up points, KDB looked great against Sweden. Also, Payet has created a great number of chances and France didn't look very good when he didn't play. Both are great picks so go with your gut. It really depends on how open you think the games will be. Go with the player that plays in the less defensive game in your opinion

      Yes it would be great maybe Hamsik brilliance I did consider Weiss bcuz 1% ownership looked super differential, but no balls. Fortunately most of the ownership is hector muller and Ozil. No CS clears hector, and Ozil has been bad so no expected points. Muller the only one im worried about even if he has been mediocre.

    I'm thinking KDB and Muller are due for a while now 😀 and Belgium is a bit tricky (I'm from Belgium btw). We haven't been great and I don't expect us to be against Hungary as well. It will be either a low scoring game or when it is high scoring, it will on counters because the other team had to attack. I'm guessing 2-0 Belgium.
