Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

          I find at the beginning of the season I just play the fixtures and slowly gain data. Watch the bandwagons, watch the players who have caused the bandwagons and consider how long term they are. For team coverage I find it important to look at past base bps, which I feel pay off in the long term.

      I'm an arsenal fan and I can't see any value in any of our defence, even if they're at 4.5. The club have shamed themselves by not signing a CB in time for Liverpool and I don't expect any clean sheets until Kos is back and we have an experienced CB next to him.

      I like it.

      I have same mid for same reason but have tadic
      I've opted for a KUn 6.5 6.5 and a stronger def (both valencia and shaw are my route to united C/S and maybe assists)
