Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

        If Carrol kept his form and played 3000min last season he would have gotten 18 goals....

      Thought I'd just responded to this.

      A resounding yes. I have Redmond in place of Ramirez, Val for Shaw, and 4.5 for Terry otherwise pretty much identical. Thus, i like it.

              Rangel is almost 34. Doesn't have much left in the old legs.

              Naughton will play at the start of the season. probably RB. Alternatively they could play Rangel RB and him LB gw1 if they decide they don't want to throw Kingsley into the deep end at LB. Naylor will play LB when fit. RB will be Naughton with Rangel occasionally long term.
