Rate My Team Update & Preview Movie

Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

These tools are accessible as part of the Fantasy Football Scout Membership. This is currently available for the pre-season price of £12.50 (RRP £15.00).

Users with free accounts can upgrade via this link, while new users can register as members here.

Probably pointed out long ago, but: Rotating Palace/Everton/Southampton (Benching 1) works pretty well for the first 6+ GWs, throwing up the following possible string:

    WBA/WAT | wba/tot | BOU/SUN | mid/sun | MID/SWA | sun/bou | eve/CPL | WHU/BUR | lei/bur | LIV/WHU | hul/bur

So e.g. bench 1 of Deu/Redmond/Bolasie each week.
    Or Souare/VVD/Baines
    Or Long/Townsend/Barkley
    Whatever floats your boat.

Food for thought. My current team for reference (too much on defence, Agueroless blah blah).

    Valdes (Jak)
    Valencia, Baines, Walker (4.0, 4.0)
    Sanchez, Hazard, Bolasie, Redmond (Deu)
    Kane, Vardy Carroll

My main issue is that my 6.5 striker has to play every week, which I don't like. But then, Carroll will be tall every week, so he can always nod a couple in.

    My questions:
    1) What do you think (except for "I don't see Kun; I smell toast"
    2) What are the other THREES that rotate well to start the season?

VvD too expensive to rotate tbh. You could go with Targett. A bit of a risk as to when Bertrand returns but I am confident on at least till GW3.

Thanks, I like Redmond but not 100% sure he'll start GW1
I could do Heaton -> Jaku but don't think any 4M defenders nailed

Stones doubt Gw1. Del & Tad are 60-70 min players. Forster / Schm + 4 better than man /man rot imo
