Rate My Team Update & Preview Movie

Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

These tools are accessible as part of the Fantasy Football Scout Membership. This is currently available for the pre-season price of £12.50 (RRP £15.00).

Users with free accounts can upgrade via this link, while new users can register as members here.

    Pick one.

    A) Zlatan + Lamela + Ramirez + Van Dijk
    B) Gray + Martial + Firmino + Stones
    C) Gray + Martial + Alli + Stones

    Thanks 🙂

I feel like I've pretty much settled on a team. I've made a tonne of swaps over the last couple of days but these seem to be the ones I gravitate back towards:

    Foster / Heaton
Van Dijk / Shaw / Stones / Mee / Friend
    Firmino / Tadic / Lamela / Townsend / Ibe
    Aguero / Ibra / Gray

Anything jumping out that I've missed?

He's one I keep going back and forth on. Both good options, but in inconsistent teams. Think you might be right though, Eve should have the easier time of it, surely. Thanks.

As a Chelsea fan, it pains me to leave them out, but I just can't figure out how to make one work. Oscar/Fab seem to be my only options, and I don't know can I rely on either of them out of the gates.

Sturridge has a hip issue and unlikely to dress for GW1 (what else is new) and KDB is just lacking match fitness from coming to training late. Likely will not play GW1 either...same goes for Payet, Giroud, Ozil, Koscielny, and possibly Siggurdson.

25 million for a mediocre player like Bolasie is depressing

he's not mediocre, he has amazing potential and could become a star under koeman

    Foster - Jakupovic
    Shaw - Stones - Cedric - Kone - Souare
    Sanchez - Martial - Willian - Lamela - Capoue
    Aguero - Carroll - Gray
    1.5m ITB

Initially had Musa instead of Carroll but worried that he won't start and/or will be played off the wing. Anything I can do to beef up my attack?

1st and prob only RMT of the season

    Foster (Jak)
    Stones Williams Friend (Kone, Paredes)
    Hazard Sanchez Firmino King (Watson)
    Aguero Costa Gray

Never have gone big on a defence at the start of a season but reckon that doesn't look too bad at the back.
Will King get starts for Bouremouth?

    Any thoughts on it overall...thanks

Jesse Lingard? Not great, competition from Mkhitaryan so he's definitely not nailed.

Good luck Tina. I was on this for a while but changed my mind due to the potential value of Gray and what he can do for my defence and mids. Means going without one of Vardy/Kane though...
