Rate My Team Update & Preview Movie

Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

    Tadic or Barkley?

    Was on Deulofeu but now with Bolasie and the other options, I think Barkley is the safest when I want some Everton coverage for the good start.

    Pretty safe to assume that Stones will not start GW1 right?

    I would think Pep would want a bit of time on the training ground with him to get him playing in the way he wants him too.

    Or do people actually think he'll be lining up v's Sunderland

      I think he'll start. Kompany is injured and Mangala couldn't even make the CL squad. They don't have many options. There's Kolarov at CB or Denayer but Stones has had a preseason and was bought to play. I think he'll go straight in.

    Am I right in thinking that if both Redmond and Ramirez are the same sort of nailed-on-ness then I should just go for Ramirez and use the extra 0.5m to upgrade elsewhere?

    I'm tempted by two 6.5 forwards to complement Aguero which would allow me a midfield of Hazard, Firmino, Martial, Alli and Capoue.

    Good idea or not? I'm unsure but it's temping, even though it's a completely different approach to my original Aguero/Sturridge picks.
