Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

  Interesting approach with neither Ibrahim or Aguero. Gives you a strong defensive option. I love Bellerin but I'd worry about cs potential for Arsenal defense given injuries in the middle.

      Just a little confused on who vdv and Jutk are. Can you elaborate? I am also hesitant about townsend since gw1 they are playing west brom and I peg west brom to have a clean sheet

        4th mid is a position I'm struggling with. Had Townsend at the end of last year and liked him but agree WB is a tough nut to crack.
        
        Thought about Drinkwater, Gudmundsson and Fischer also Iwobi???

        It works but I honestly am not a fan of the 4-4-2 formation especially at the start of the season. Generally, I do not think that clean sheets are a reliable source of points and would go for a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formation. I like VDV and do not know much about JUT. For the 4th mid slot. I think having albrighton or drinkwater could be good since they face Hull gw1 and could contribute a goal or assist

What is with Borini? Is he solid option alongside Ibra and Kun to free up cash for very good mid (Haz, Firmino, Tadic, Lamela, Capoue)?
I want Gray like every one, but want that mid too (defence nailded- Foster, Heaton/ Shaw, Stones, Friend, Kone, Amat)
