Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

Why so little love for Kane? See many teams with Aguero, Ibra and Vardy but don't you think Kane has the same potential to score? Also feel like you know what you get from Kane while many things are new in the others team

  The attack looks pretty potent. But you have obviously had to sacrifice a little in the mid. With Stones move to city the defence looks like it will be utilised fully in a rotation until things settle and we see how managers are lining up

sorry mate. got sidetracked at work. to answer your question from the 1st page...yes, I'm playing as well. first time here also mate. have a group of lads that do a draft league and we used FPL and did it manually, but probably going to use that one now.

  It worked well for me last Friday. The draft took around 1hr on Dugout and you had two minutes to make your pick. I'm in a league of ten people so there's plenty of star players to go around.
  
  I looked at about 180 different players on my shortlist beforehand and picked an 18 man squad of 2 keepers, 5 defenders, 6 midfielders and 5 strikers. The only pressure comes at the end when you're all delving in the bargain bucket for the best possible squad filler!

Dann - one of the most scoring def last season.
Chose Deulofeu as he was playing frw even pairing Lukaku, so more chances to score points.
Same reason for Sanchez (until Giroud returns)

a- vardy + cheap midfield or
b- gray + boosting midfield

currently my team is as follows:

degea, valdes
pieters, friend, evans, mee, taylor
hazard, firmino, capoue, feghouli, fletcher
vardey, ibrahimovic, aguero

any suggestions?

  I'd potentially look at downgrading one of your keepers to improve your midfield, Capoue or Fletcher aren't going to cut it as a 4th Mid.
