Spare a thought for Mike Phelan.

Already the Hull City caretaker manager seems to be unfurling the white flag, even before Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez get their first run at his patched-up defence.

The first Dugout Discussion of the Premier League season could witness one of the most one-sided opening fixtures in memory.

Champions Leicester turn up at the KCOM Stadium off the back of the FA Community Shield defeat to Manchester United but surely still brimming with confidence and optimism following the triumphant campaign.

Certainly they bring plenty of talent and pace – heightened by the presence of Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray on their teamsheet. That might just prove too much, even for a spirited Hull City showing.

Stranger things have happened, though. Just ask Claudio Ranieri.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        Problem with most of the user base being either 12-18 or whining little biatches.

        No point posting here matchday. It's all 'oh woe is me my captain hasn't scored in the first 10 minutes' or 'ha,ha-your captain hasn't scored in the first 10 minutes-my captain is better' knobheads.

            I was on here in the early years of the site-7-8 years ago.

            It's awful now,don't post here much at all. Thought I'd check it out today but it's just whining/whinging potholes who will bemoan a lack of points one minute and then over-celebrate with 'VVAAAAAARDDY!' one minute later when the player they're slating has scored.

            It's just sad. A lot of sad sad people. Don't think it's a problem with casuals though. Just think the fanbase here now is younger and more of a trollbase than anything else. It's toxic.
