Attentions now turn to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola makes his Premier League bow.

David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

              His finishing is still as rubbish as last season, he is good at getting fouled, always has been with his pace, but hasn't offered much else. Crossing has been poor, position not great, City lacking a really cutting edge today and Sterling is not a 'match winning' player. Sane will soon take his place.
