          i mean, you got lucky so it went fairly alright. but end of season you would have a much better team value and therefore could have a much better bench. kingsley was by no means guaranteed a start and swansea looked one of the least likely to keep a clean sheet. friend got 2 which is basically guaranteed less than a dgw and ramirez got 4 which is basically worst case for a dgw. forster had a great game like kingsley but he could have easily got a much safer 10 points from a dgw as well. it's just statistically a poor decision all-round. but congrats for doing well. very nice team btw.

            Nah mate you have it all wrong. Hours went into this. Ruth NZ posted several days ago saying the compromises to the second WC playing the late BB could possibly not be worth it.
            It's not necessarily about who i have on the bench, I have picked my whole 15 players for the first 3 weeks (GW4 WC) with a GW1 BB in mins. Kinglsey was a guaranteed to starter to me as i had been reading forums and found an article saying Taylor was not going to make GW1.

              Now instead of playing my second WC a week before the DGW I can play it during the DGW and get a solid 11.

              Fair play. There's obviously no guarantees in this game, but i see where those later compromises may hurt enough to outweigh the benefit. I did a very similar gw1 all out attack last season and it went horribly though. Good shout then, like a real football manager there's more than one way to win.

                Yeah look mate that's what it's all about I did something different and it has clearly payed off. Could have definitely gone pear shaped but I still think it would have been the right call either way. The whole thing is to get away from the crowd mentality.

                If I posted my RMT with Walcott and Lamela people would have been Lol'ing @me.

                  Most likely. There's been a lot of praise and a lot of hate for Lamela around here lately. If he can keep getting 90 minutes he could be worth the price. I was actually thinking about Walcott briefly after their last friendly, I just didn't want him to burn me in the season opening two years in a row.

                    What swayed me to Lamela is his stats from last season. Incredible amount of shots in the box and assist potential as good as Tadic's. Great pre season form, it all added up for me.

                    Walcott is a "guarantee" to start up front against a shaky Liverpool defence now. 😉

      You will be able to after the points are updated in an hour or two. Then from then on you will be able to see everyones team. Its only a GW1 thing.
