David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

    Having watched the Everton game I think 2 players is well worth it for their upcoming fixtures. They managed to suffocate Spurs altogether for about an hour, and should have been 2 up, until the equalizer which came from nowhere. The goal changed the game though and Spurs could ended up with an unconvincing win.

    Holgate / Jagielka / Mori in a flat back 3 and McCarthy and Baines on the flanks. It looked solid for the most part and could be golden when Wiliams and Coleman come in. Barry and Gueye looked decent sitting in front of the 3.
    Deu, Mirallas and Barkley all looked threatening but it'll be interesting to see what happens when Lukaku comes in

    Happy enough to own Baines atm... although unfortunately Mirallas was on corners and Barkley on FKs

      I don't think it would have been an 'unconvincing' win had Spurs nicked it. We dominated the second half. Yes, Everton dominated most of the first half but that was more Spurs being very slow to get out of the blocks in addition to conceding a horrible goal.

      However, I agree with the general sentiment. Everton looked a different proposition today. There was character to their play and the individuals certainly played like a team. Koeman has already begun to make his mark on this team. It's a real shame that Lukaku has his head turned. He would be straight in my team for the upcoming run if he was properly motivated.

    At the start of teh season I always live in fear that one of my friends I do a H2H league with might catch on and become good at this game.

    This year he has put out a very strong starting lineup. I should take the week but I don't think it will be easy any more.

        Had the site been working this morning, I may have seen sense in the cold light of day. But I also may have taken Mahrez and Redmond out so it's a trade-off

    Never tried the whole building team value strategy but I'm considering doing it this season. Do people just use their 1 free transfer per week to get a player in whose price is likely to rise? Or do you sometimes take a hit on points and get more than one in?

      Definetely Hull. WBA CS to be expected, I guess.
      But based on your pre-season mapping, I had faith in Swansea and got in two of their players. I think they could do well this year, especially after replacing Ayew with Borja.
