Attentions now turn to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola makes his Premier League bow.

David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Strange having Foster Capoue and Amat on my bench and still being pretty satisfied. Makes a welcome change from the usual GW1 nighmare!

      I'm not pleased at all. Benched both Foster and Evans and chose Heaton instead.
      On the plus side, people will jump on Capoue, Amat and Foster which means more team value for me/us. 🙂

        Yeah only one I'm slightly annoyed about is Heaton over Foster - oh well. Exactly, think Capoue is a must have at his price in his new role, could see some big rises. And everyone loves a 4.0!

      Capoe would've been on my bench 95% of the time. Would've been nice to have him for bragging rights and increased TV, but could be a bench nightmare. He was in my team until Weds night, but decided to go for Ramirez.
