Attentions now turn to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola makes his Premier League bow.

David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        It depends which way you look at it. Having a good bench isn't a bad thing. What would you rather, 4 players that don't play?

          I'm happy with it. Very little lost on rankings and transfer value goes up.

          More optimistic for next week playing Naughton and Foster too.
