We were dressed for success, but success it never comes.

Suited and booted, we crown the new season riding a wave of giddy optimism. The positivity flows on the eve of a new campaign which, on paper, looks destined to be one of the best in memory.

Granville makes a belated return to ScoutCast action to join Jonty, Andy and myself as we start to sift the seemingly endless array of options open to us on the new season player list.

It’s bewildering stuff but, guided by you, the community, we attempt to navigate all your pre-season questions before laying our own cards on the table.

It’s amazing to be back amongst it again. Let’s just hope the smiles stay as wide for the next episode.

      Get some goals into that midfield. Don't spend too much upfront. Choose one premium defender.

    Vardy or Zlatan?

    Zlatans ownership scares me and I don't want to miss out on potential points but I'm assuming Vardy will outscore him this Gw?

    I have Mahrez already and no other Utd attacking cover but maybe it'll be worth changing and keeping 1.5m ITB?

    I thought I was done but my standard early morning first day of the season second guessing has begun

      I've gone Vardy, my thinking, im pretty sure he's gonna outscore Zlatan this GW, Vardy is proven in the prem, Ibra isnt, however, I have 1.5m itb, so if Ibra goes mad I can get him in, next GW. It's only one GW, have him covered for next week if you can 🙂

          Yeah, same here!!! I've tinkered beyond belief! I've also toyed with swapping Hazard for Mahrez and swapping Vardy for Ibra, cover both then, i still might, or i might just leave it, arggghhhh, its like wildcard week!! lol

      I don't like two 4.0 on the bench just because if you have an injury or suspension you'll more than likely be forced into making a transfer. Much prefer having bench options there to rotate
