We were dressed for success, but success it never comes.

Suited and booted, we crown the new season riding a wave of giddy optimism. The positivity flows on the eve of a new campaign which, on paper, looks destined to be one of the best in memory.

Granville makes a belated return to ScoutCast action to join Jonty, Andy and myself as we start to sift the seemingly endless array of options open to us on the new season player list.

It’s bewildering stuff but, guided by you, the community, we attempt to navigate all your pre-season questions before laying our own cards on the table.

It’s amazing to be back amongst it again. Let’s just hope the smiles stay as wide for the next episode.

      This question has been asked about a thousand times ha. I had the dilemma myself, pretty much go with your gut. It's tough to call. I leaned with Lamela and Tadic, because really wanted Tadic, Redmond bit of an unknown.

      Been on this for a while. I have decided to pick the combo with the more expensive player and player taking up more of my budget who plays for the more effective team. So have gone with Alli and the Redmond who is potentially playing OOP.

        I agree. Mid playing up top in a team expected to be in the top half for 6.5. Good preseason too. REDMOND has to be worth a punt

    Lamela or DelBoy?

    Quite like having the extra 0.5 in the bank with DelBoy.

    Fixtures are comparable and Del could be up front.

    Means me going without spurs cover.

      Morgan is good pick imo. Leicester will remain tight at the back as long as Ranieri is their manager.

    Hi everyone!

    Can please please advice on that:

    Heaton (Jaku)

    Stones Valencia Frined (Amat Smith) -
    Hazard Firminio Alli Redmon (Capue)
    Aduero Vardy Gray -

    - my concern is having two 4.0 defs, who are far from being nailed
    - also, I keep swithcng between Vardy and Ibra (Vardy because of hull, nut really want Ibra afterwards)
    - Isn't it better having Negredo instead of Gray - the former has far better fixtures, also scored in pre-season

    ???

      Downgrade Alli to Lamela/Tadic and upgrade one of the 4m defenders. Also I'd prefer Ibra over Vardy and Gray over Negredo.
