Gameweek 1 concludes at the Bridge, as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte becomes the final new manager to make his Premier League bow.

His opening task is far from straightforward. West Ham United arrive as opposition boasting one of the finest away records in the league under Slaven Bilic last season.

That included a 2-2 draw in the corresponding fixture, where goals from Manuel Lanzini and Andy Carroll earned the Hammers a point.

While Lanzini sits out tonight’s match through injury, Carroll is in the starting line-up although Dimitri Payet can only make the bench.

The Frenchman could yet see action and will surely post the biggest threat to Conte’s rearguard once on the pitch. His 28% ownership will certainly be desperate for him to make an appearance.

Chelsea have their own gamechanger in Eden Hazard. The Belgian starts for the Blues as he auditions for the heavy-hitter midfield role in our squads.

There’s no shortage of talent on show. We can only hope that translates to points and a Monday night spectacle.

all those blaming Moreno for Arsenal's first goal today may wanna watch this:

    https://twitter.com/LFCImpulse/status/765135567717670912

I know I sound like I am in the "I love Moreno" fan club. I like the guy, think he is a good player, but I am sick of him being thrown under the bus so often by the press and by a lot of Liverpool fans. He has become a scapegoat.

a lot of Pool fans slate him and solely blame him. I think it's unjust and todays game was the perfect example. All over twitter he was being blamed for the goal but there is proof that it wasn't his fault. Sure he has some part to blame but it's very obvious Klopp wants him to attack and get forward and is it his fault the another player doesn't drop back and cover?

I don't agree that he is appalling or awful. I also don't think he is amazing, but he is certainly better than the abuse he gets and surely Klopp sees enough him to trust him otherwise he would have signed a replacement.

What about the ridic pen he gave away? Or his performance in the EL final and countless other mares he had last season?
He's a total liability to any team that aspires to finish top 4.

This GW1 feels so much better to last season's when I had a non-playing Walcott and Jordan 'the New Gerrard' Henderson leaving me dwelling on how I was going to sort out such a horrendous mess. Big win for FFS from the starting gun this year.

Should survive pretty easily. The main fallers are players that didn't start or got injured. Fischer, Mkhitaryan, Hart, Lloris, Austin and so on.

Having said that, the most common midfielder transfer is Firmino to Coutinho which seems pretty much like chasing last week's points to me. The roles could easily be reversed next game.

Original plan was to increase team value early on, probably followed by an international break WC - looks like Coutinho is the one this week.

IF I commit to my original plan, which sounds better?

    (A) Firmino -> Coutinho

Nice one! Other than Valencia over Shaw I have the same outfield 11 so choosing Ibra over Vardy came off for me.

But I am a bit concerned by the lack of Firmino or Coutinho in the squad. Worth sticking with Mahrez? He seemed lethargic on Saturday, though he is at least back on pens. Or does it makes sense to get rid of him to get in one of those Liverpool midfielders?

Was looking at the same thing. But Arsenal were not good and when can you concede 3 goals and still win, (ok Liverpool vs Norwich last season)...... but going to give it a few weeks.

Who would you choose? It's like Arsenals midfield in 2014/2015.. they all look good! For me it would be Coutinho, but will definitely see how he get on with his hamstring.

        Early days yet for everyone.

I agree, over time the returns should even out between the three. At the moment being a set piece threat feels like a decisive factor, so Coutinho in the short-term and longer-term probably Firmino, though Mane looks a right handful.

But your point about early days is so right. Not using the first FT feels like you're doing nothing, but not using also counts as being a decision - I have to keep telling myself that!

      Just do the first

Give Harry a chance at home to palace, not worth a hit at this stage

Kane could easily outscore Ibra this week,

Just the first one, so you'll save yourself a hit and bring in Ibra next week
