Hull City and Manchester United conclude the day’s events with a top of the table clash at the KCOM stadium.

Against the odds, both teams go into the tea-time kick-off having won both their opening matches, with Tigers boss Mike Phelan working miracles with a threadbare squad.

Not surprisingly, both Hull and United are unchanged. Whilst that could be down to very limited options in Phelan’s case, Jose Mourinho chooses to keep his winning side intact, with Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan again named on the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Just to add fuel to the Everton pk taker debate. Barkley had hold of the ball and it well looked like he was going to take it before Baines came up. Mirallas had a word with him, too, just prior to him taking it.

My last post mentioned how well Williams played today and replies queried why Jags got bonus and he didn't. Pondering whether I'm being swayed by his past performances for Swansea, where he was a baps-magnet. Do you think that's because in backs against the wall performances for Swansea, Williams was the stand-out defender? At Everton, where the defensive unit protected by Barry and Gana all play well together, will Williams' bonus potential be diminished?

I've looked at the stats, he lost a little bit by having a low passing percentage which put him in the lowest passing bonus bracket. As far as CBI, tackles, ball recoveries etc go, he was averaging around 20 actions a game at Swansea last year, not sure that is sustainable at Everton with three centre-backs sharing the load.

Yes. Quite a few misplaced passes today. Figured that was what did him today.

        Thanks for the reply.

I think Jagielka purely out-did him today but we need more than one game to make sure.

4 more ball recoveries, 2 more clearance, 1 more block.

Also won 3/4 aerial duels compared to 2/3.

    Would you rather?

    A) Sell Walker for Williams
    B) Sell Stones for Williams

A means I get an extra 0.5 ITB for when I eventually WC.

Walker has Stoke, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, West Brom and Bournemouth in his next 6 fixtures, good CS potential and as always, good attacking potential. Stones has average fixtures in an average City defence

I have no United players, haven't and won't.

I haven't used or spent anything and have two frees again.

Needs Hazard in imo, pretty hard to get him Ibra, Aguero and Ozil in though. I'd ditch DDG for a 4.5 and Jaku for Pickford as Hull are getting a keeper in before the window closes
