He’s gone. Aguero has been shown the door, at least by myself, Jonty and Andy.

But Granville had to be different.

The revitalised ScoutCast shock-jockey simply had to go against the grain and choose to bench the Argentine.

He’s also refusing to play his Wildcard, challenging us to persuade him over the course of this episode.

Do we succeed in tipping him over the edge? You’ll have to listen in and find out.

In doing so, you’ll hear the four of us address a barrage of Wildcard fuelled questions from you, the Community, as we tackle subjects such as the Arsenal midfield conundrum, Payet vs Antonio and survey the options when it comes to cheap enablers.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via YouTube on Tuesday evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ben dinnery says sanchez requires a check...with perez and giroud hanging around this prob means limited minutes?

Ozil + 1.5 comfortably for me.

I think Sanchez is only worth 0.5 more, if that

Ozil has upped his game in the last year - has started shooting more and getting into scoring positions

Ozil is more consistent and Arsenal play around him. Sanchez is explosive but inconsistent at times. So Ozil for me

Sanchez perfectly distributes funds from Aguero. Thats the main reason for me. I dont like money sitting on my bench. Someone previously posted Alexis's record of having big scores in a row and then blanking. If he will get some of those sweet points it seems like it should happen against Soton. Mesut on the other hand will provide you 1 point every 15 minutes or something. I went for explosiveness

      1. Bubz

Thing is that it's the difference between Firmino/Sterlign as my third mid vs a 6.9m or less mid, which I cant see any good options in

Go for F/S then. You wont regret getting Ozil at all, he's hell of a player. Sterling seems to find a way to score AND starting 11

Just reading Pulis' quotes and he didn't see happy with WBA

He was basically saying the window wasn't what he wanted, but now they just have to carry on and get results

I'm less confident with a WBA defensive double up now

    Current WC team:

    Foster (Jakupovic)
    Valencia Williams Masuaku Evans (Amat)
    Hazard **** Mane Antonio ****
    Ibra Lukaku ****

    For the missing spots:
    A) Sanchez + Capoue + Diomande (rotation between Evans, Capoue and Diomande + 0.9m ITB)
    B) Ozil + Rondon + Capoue (3-4-3 every week, 0.3m ITB)
    C) Sanchez + Puncheon + Diomande (3-5-2, 0,ITB)

Should I keep Valencia in Shaw in defence or lose one of them for Baines? I'm wildcarding and thinking long-term but also want to know about their availability this week (Valencia just got back yesterday from internationals and Shaw may be injured?)

    1. Respect My Authoritah

If you're wildcarding you should be focussed on the long term. I'm on a wildcard, getting both of them and benching both for the Manc derby. My thinking is it's the only game before the next WC when I'll leave them out.

    3. faver
      • 10 Years

Set pieces for Baines covers Shaw attacking potential. Goals/assists from fk/pk will come for sure. Valencia can provide like 70 crosses every game and get 30 baps without assists. He will outscore both of them. #keeptony

Ummm presumably then you're not aware that if you add up all of Valencia's baps over the last 4 seasons (totalling the equivalent of over 84 full matches), it comes to 6 baps less than you think he will get this year?!

Sunderland away is not a great fixture for an attacker

        hmm.. not exactly..
Then, Ozil will be safest of three then..

Owning him is enough at the minute. That said this is the week for a punt. Ibra facing city who will dominate possession, Haz less effective away and Sanchez might not even start

That's why I went with Ozil ahead of Sanchez..
          However, I have Ibra too..

NO. NEVER. Just dont captain him. He's a good player but you cant predict when and how much he will score.

Hazard. Swansea, without digging too deep, conceded 3 from 13 shots on goal. Hazard alone can have 10. Add Costa, Willian, Oscar, Mischa to equation. With all the respect for Swans, ON PAPER they look weak and Chelsea looks like team who will find way to the goal eventually (20 shots - 7 goals), no matter what. And Eden is in the center of it. Those are dumb statistics but I have watched all Chelsea games and Hazard is back - 100%. I just want to back it up with some stats. Also Soton and away Sunderland dont as easy as Swansea
