He’s gone. Aguero has been shown the door, at least by myself, Jonty and Andy.

But Granville had to be different.

The revitalised ScoutCast shock-jockey simply had to go against the grain and choose to bench the Argentine.

He’s also refusing to play his Wildcard, challenging us to persuade him over the course of this episode.

Do we succeed in tipping him over the edge? You’ll have to listen in and find out.

In doing so, you’ll hear the four of us address a barrage of Wildcard fuelled questions from you, the Community, as we tackle subjects such as the Arsenal midfield conundrum, Payet vs Antonio and survey the options when it comes to cheap enablers.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via YouTube on Tuesday evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Is it worth taking Kun out for a -4 if I can field a decent 11? Can use a FT after the GW deadline to swap him out. Hoping he doesn't drop before that.

If you are going to keep him, keep him. No point in transferring out after the deadline if you want him back only 1 GW later.

If you want to keep him, his price drop is irrelevant

      100%

If you can't make up the difference of 4 points with the transfer then you're doing something wrong.

Lets say you get Lukaku and he scores just once in the next two GW then he gets 2 + 6 = 8.

The player you have to field to keep Aguero on the bench will get 4 points at best, maybe less if its a bad defender who concedes goals.

So at the very least you should get that -4 back, if not more than. I see it as a no-brainer.

        Extremely flawed logic.

Contemplating keeping myself. Nothing wrong with keeping as his price will immediately go up again.

Yes but if you buy him back at 12.8m then you gain 0.2, along with the fact that if you choose well you can gain far more points off the players you buy from his 13m than you likely will off your 5th mid/3rd striker.

To be fair, Kane punt last fall after he was left for roadkill pretty much won me my league. But doesn't it feel like there is something very wrong with TOT right now? It is like they are experiencing the downside of having a really youthful team, no experienced vets to establish the pecking order. But they have a ton of talent, so it will turn around at some point. Away at Stoke just doesn't feel like it is that turning point, but maybe it is close and all these other punt picks in place of Kun are total garbage. I mean Lukaku? Benteke? Up to about 10 minutes ago some people were bent out of shape about Remy. Jeez, maybe you take Kane and end up laughing at all of us.

Last minute WC moves based on lots of pens this year & medium term fixtures

    Foster (4.0)
    Valencia, Baines*, Collins, Kone, Amat
    Sanchez, Hazard*, Cazorla*, Antonio, Cap
    Ibra*, Tekkers*, Defoe*

1.5 ITB to do straight Ibra -> Kun swap when required

You know you lose points for missed pens to 😉

      1) Barkley much more advance than Cazorla.
      2) No such thing as coverage
      3) Flip a coin, Foster will probably get injured at some point though.

That moment you are watching a game and a team you have the penalty taker from gets a penalty - that's why we play this game!

Barkley is out for the same reason as Kaku. I've had them before and they are streaky and frustrating. Cazorla is in for pens and fixtures. I just have a feeling them and Wham are going to go on one over the next month

I like Foster more, and if I move to Heaton I will probably switch Kone to Evans for WB cover. Burnleys fixtures are better but I need to move on from that as this is a decision I need to stick with for months

          Point 1 - Agree
Point 2 - Disagree, you are a Liverpool fan, on that logic alone you should give into Barkley/Lukaku. Barkley will outscore Cazorla handsomely over next 4-6 GW's
Point 3 - Go with your gut

          Good luck

I play this game mostly for an excuse to wind up Brits I work with, but yeah penalties are pretty cool under the right set of circumstances. How about that feeling right after that feeling when despite your guy getting the penalty, you just know the dude is going to mess it up? Classic.

Alright lads, i'm in a right pickle as to whether to wildcard or not, I've worked myself into a bit of a corner due to poor decision making and stubbornness.

I don't think either of my keepers are playing this week as Mandanda has taken Hennessy's spot (correct me if I'm wrong).
To add to this, I have the violent Aguero problem and have doubled up on both Chelsea and Southampton Mids, with the plan of selling the underperforming of the two southampton lads and hoping that both chelsea lads would fire, they didn't. I also still have alot of faith in Rooney as a differential and I feel if i get Ibra now i've lost alot of points for nothing

    Here's my team, thoughts please.

    Hennessy (Valdes)
    Valencia Stones McCauley (Friend Amat)
    Hazard Firmino Oscar Tadic Redmond
    Rooney Aguero (Diomande)

I also have 1ft and 1.2m in the bank...

Sort out the keepers for longer term, get rid of Stones, the whole midfield could do with a review outside of Haz, and the Kun money needs redistributing for a few weeks. Get yourself 3 good strikers

Do I have to own someone with a facial scar to be in your gang? If the answer is yes, then I'm in for this game week at least. Chelsea will be a top 4 team this year and get back to CL, so while that doesn't necessarily preclude a prolonged dry spell, I would prefer to prolong Hazard in my squad. Are people not concerned about Antonio's rotation with Payet, Feghouli, lanzini all coming back?

If he keeps scoring goals he'll stay in the team.

....for now. Add Ayew to the list in a few weeks too. If Bilic thought Antonio was that great a winger, why try and convert him into a RB? I'm playing it safe and going with Payet

Defensive issues forced his hand more than a little, I feel.
We didn't buy him to play at the back.

It is an interesting point though. One that hasn't been given much air.

I think Fehouli will start. One of our highest earners, not come to sit on the bench.

Bilic has always had Feghouli on the mind for the right wing, and he excelled pre season.

Best midfielder £5.6 max? Currently torn between Josh King and Januzaj - both have decent upcoming fixtures and promising stats. Thoughts?

Well both Zaha & Punch seem nailed for a while.

Already got Benteke so not too keen on doubling up on Palace attack considering they've only scored 1 goal thus far

Ok, he's been really bad for the opening three games but i'm surprised at how little Kane has been mentioned as a Kun replacement.

Not disagreeing with you, I think he's a good option as he will start banging them in at one point. Just like Lukaku might, Benteke might, Bony might, Zaza might, Kane might 🙂

I was just saying that's what most people are saying to convince themselves they are making the right choice, if that makes sense.
