A busy Sunday of football comes to its conclusion at White Hart Lane as Spurs and Sunderland go head-to-head in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The hosts’ 4-0 win over Stoke last weekend boosted out faith in the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, yet their midweek Champions League loss to Monaco at Wembley suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side have yet to hit top gear.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela owners are left cursing their luck after the duo were named amongst the subs, with Mousa Dembele returning to the XI following a six-match suspension.

Certainly, the home side will be buoyed by their visitors’ second-half capitulation at home to Everton on Monday night.

The Black Cats have yet to win under David Moyes and, considering their current form, may well be lucky to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season.

Anyone know how much Ibra is likely to drop this week? If just 0.1 I might keep another week but don't really want to lose more than that.

I highly doubt it will be more than -0.1, the assist today probably saved him

    Well, team now looks like:

    Heaton
    Evans - Baines - Valencia
    Antonio - Sanchez - Mane - Mirallas
    Lukaku - Aguero - Benteke
    _____________________________
    Robinson: Capoue, Masuaku, Amat

Weeks to come, Mirallas will likely become Snodgrass, and Masuaku may become a Holebas.

    Looking good?

(In other news, sooo happy i'm top of my mini league!)

Got my plan sorted for GW 6 just hope to god I hit the green arrow with it here's my template team.

    Foster
    Bailly Masuaku Williams
    Haz KDB Capoue Antonio Pereyra
    Aguero (C) Costa

Save 1.4 ITB gives me enough to do Hazard > Sanchez GW 7 (providing he'll rise by then)

Capoue is massive fpl player. People don't realise that because of his price. Most of people think he is good 4th or 5th midfielder because of his price, but he's not. Only De Bruyne and Alexis are better options than him in midfield. He arrives late in opposition area, has very smart timing of runs, has great first time shot, last time a saw this in EPL, was back then when Lampard played for Chelsea. I'm not saying Capoue is in Lampard level, i'm just saying there are lot of similarities and i see Capoue scoring a lot of Lampardesque goals, arriving late on the egde of the box and scoring. Well, he costs 4.9, he can't be that good, right? Wrong. And there is one more massive advantage, he does a lot of defensive work. Tackles, interceptions, clearances. Because of that, every time he scores, there is very big chance he's going to get 3 bonus points. I know many people will laugh at me for comparing him to Lampard, but i don't care, i'm now looking for my new 4th and 5th midfielder, probably Snoddy and Bolasie, because i'm not going to get rid of Lukaku and Ibra, and i need to get Aguero back. Cheers.

You shouldn't say Capoue and Lampard are on the same level. Capoue is far better.

Has a very distinctive action and I could see him scoring that goal an age prior to the shot. Some players have great quantity in stats but are useless; this guy has quality oppurtunities with his ghosting.

No need to debate his inclusion anyway at his price and fixtures. No brainer.

Inclusion is no debate, but as a bench 5th midfielder or as a starting 4th midfielder is the big question...

Great post and I completely agree.

He's not like a KDB or Alexis who are great players involved in most things in their side, he is exactly how you described him - Lampardesque. Very very much like him, not the same level but a similar style of player. Also the bonus points re his defensive work is a very good point I hadn't thought of. I'm more than happy to have him starting each week.

Stats aren't everything. Plenty of players have great stats but never really convert them into points. And I can imagine Lampard's stats 6-7 years ago probably weren't great.

Iheanacho is on fire at the moment and would surely walk into any other team in the premier league.

Any chance of Pep squeezing him in once Kun is back?

Doesn't look like it so far, he'll be used as back-up to give Aguero a rest - I'd expect him to play League Cup and FA Cup games, maybe post-CL Premier League games as well on occasion.

Doubt it. Simply too much quality in midfield to play 2 up top.

No, but he's done enough to warrant minutes, which could mean some early subs for Aguero.

Doubt it. Im pretty sure he will be getting many more minutes off the bench though, and will start midweek.

Why not - could easily see Kung getting subbed eary for him at least, or he might play two up front

no chance, only 19 years old, will get the odd start due to Pep rotation policy in league, will start league and FA Cups, and easy CL games, will easily finish with 15+ starts and another 15+ sub appearances and be happy as a youngster.
