Dugout Discussion – Watford vs Man United

Sunday treats us to four matches, kicking off with a noon encounter at Vicarage Road between Watford and Man United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic carries the armband hopes of many Fantasy managers heading into this one – the Swede narrowly topped this week’s Captain Poll off the back of four goals in as many matches.

Etienne Capoue has the chance to prove himself worthy of a fourth midfielder slot today. Having scored against Southampton, Chelsea and West Ham, the Frenchman is set for a favourable run of matches that could bring in the points.

Similarly, Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney and Jose Holebas are also under the spotlight after all three got amongst the goals in last week’s comeback win over the Hammers.

    So I don't think its possible run a team with Ibra and Kun, especially as a like a viable 3rd striker and balance in midfeld, my defence couldn't be anymore cut price!

    So yeah let's see what Ibra does...

        Sort of, I obviously had both before, but there wasn't many heavy hitters firing in midfield and could rely on the mid to low price, now Sanchez and KdB have come to the party.

                  It's looking likely if Benteke has a stormer. Ideally would like to keep Ibra for another couple of games though. I will wait a few days and decide then!

                      Yea i kepted Ibra and Sanchez. Did Benteke, Hazard, and Masuaku to Aguero, Snodgrass, Robertson for a -4 hit last night as i was short by 0.2m. Keeping next two ft's until next int. Break. What about you ?

                        Was thinking of doing Hazard + Cazorla to Sanchez + Lallana but with Hazard dropping twice I'm now 0.1 short!
                        Thinking of not getting Kun back for the next 2 GWs (as risky as that is) as I'm pretty happy with my team for now.
                        Will wait until closer to the deadline to decide my move. Might carry one of my FT over and just do something like Hazard to Firmino.
                        Any suggestions?

                        I giving into the 'no City' pressure and strong talk of Aguero rising tonight so trying to figure out the best way to get him in and came up with this mate:
                        Benteke + Hazard + Shaw to
                        Kun + Puncheon/Zaha/Redmond(6.0m max) + Holebas

                        Team would look like this:
                        Foster/Pickford
                        Baines/Bellerin/Holebas/Evans/Amat
                        Payet/Cazorla/Snodgrass/ *** /Capoue
                        Ibra/Kun/Lukaku

                        What do you think?

                        Yea that looks good to me, but i wouldn't consider Redmond. Puncheon for me as Zaha is very hot and cold.

                        Yea Hazard is the key one really as he should fall again this week. Ibra has to fall 3 times. I wouldn't be worried about rises either, just did my tranfers early this week as alot of people are WCing and its driving me mad atm as it makes me procrastinate with my transfers when i see there teams!

                        Yea i considered Hazard to Firmino but avoided as the liv mids could wreck your head as they explode rotate and would never consider captaining them for that reason and will make you think you got the wrong one.

                        Going without Aguero could be dangerous. Have you played your WC ?

    Correct me if I'm wrong;
    I know it's important to build up a good team and sale value, especially early in the season, but when it comes to Aguero - expecting price rises from him is just a bonus right? I mean, the main reason why we put him in our team is for points and captaincy right?
    I don't expect him to rise more than 0.1-0.2 in the next couple of GWs, since he will be price protected one week after they remove his suspension flag and he will most likely not be brought back by that many people (except for people at Fantasy Football Scouts). There are a lot of other attackers at the moment that are producing very well (Costa, Lukaku and maybe Kane after todays game) and casuals will more likely to be looking at them. And even if Aguero gets a hattrick next weekend, and his ownership will go up like a rocket, his price won't change until the price protection is removed.
    I think he will more likely go down even further in price if he gets an injury or another suspension, since most people who wants to bring him back will most likely do so during his price protection.

    It's just a thought that I had when I was traveling back from Japan, I didn't have much else to do on the plane... 😀
