Dugout Discussion – Watford vs Man United

Sunday treats us to four matches, kicking off with a noon encounter at Vicarage Road between Watford and Man United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic carries the armband hopes of many Fantasy managers heading into this one – the Swede narrowly topped this week’s Captain Poll off the back of four goals in as many matches.

Etienne Capoue has the chance to prove himself worthy of a fourth midfielder slot today. Having scored against Southampton, Chelsea and West Ham, the Frenchman is set for a favourable run of matches that could bring in the points.

Similarly, Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney and Jose Holebas are also under the spotlight after all three got amongst the goals in last week’s comeback win over the Hammers.

    Before the match I wanted Deeney for their good run of fixtures but thought sticking with Capoue would be enough.

    I'm really tempted to double up but losing Benteke just seems crazy.

    Watched all the PL games and they failed to impress me. They are playing slow football with a distinct lack of desire/workrate. They'll have to improve drastically to get top four nevermind the title.

            He was awful, considering they're supposed to be a title chasing side. He's been decent in the first few matches but as soon as it gets tough his passing and lack of movement is a giant hindrance

            Can't blame Fellaini for this embarrassment despite conceding the pen. The game was lost well before that. Probably been one of our best players so far this season.

            Rooney has to go immediately, and if Jose can't see that from this performance he can go too!

        His returns suggest the total opposite of this.

        He's scoring points in a team that aren't doing well, so imagine what happens when they actually do start playing well.

        Looking at how his team are playing and that hes dropped to 4PPG in his last 3 I dont think its value for money.

        If i go for a Kane, Costa, Lukaku etc they might not match his points over the season but spending that money in the midfield IMO will bring a higher points gain.

      They will be price protected when they go from red to available (blue?).
      They are not price protected when they are red flagged, but requires more transfers in/out to have a price change.
