Dugout Discussion – Watford vs Man United

Sunday treats us to four matches, kicking off with a noon encounter at Vicarage Road between Watford and Man United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic carries the armband hopes of many Fantasy managers heading into this one – the Swede narrowly topped this week’s Captain Poll off the back of four goals in as many matches.

Etienne Capoue has the chance to prove himself worthy of a fourth midfielder slot today. Having scored against Southampton, Chelsea and West Ham, the Frenchman is set for a favourable run of matches that could bring in the points.

Similarly, Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney and Jose Holebas are also under the spotlight after all three got amongst the goals in last week’s comeback win over the Hammers.

    "If an opposing player touches the ball after the final pass before a goal is scored, significantly altering the INTENDED DESTINATION of the ball, then no assist is awarded."

    According to the rules ibra should get his assist because his "intended destination" was to rashford right?

    Also what's the general consensus on ibra? keep or ditch?
    I'm thinking maybe ibra and benteke to kun and diomande and upgrade ozil to alexis. means i will play capoue as 4th mid

    All the confusion over Ibra assist is, well, confusing. Ball into box touched by 1 defender and not cleared out of box before being finished off has always been an FPL assist. If you have played this game long enough, you should know that by now.

      Not many players can get an 'assist' in a loss and get bonus. He got 3 bonus against Bournemouth though so it might be too early to judge.

        9 bps today when an assist and 60 mins played is 12 bps 😆

        12 bps last week when he scored and a goal for a forward is 24 bps 😆

      Firmino has a higher PPG and a lower price - with slightly better underlying stats for this season and last.

      Mane is a bit more of a punt, hoping that his explosive potential comes good while you own him.
