Just three weeks ago we dedicated a ScoutCast to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

We collectively toasted his impact Manchester United and swore that he was set to be a mainstay in our squads and seasons.

Just 21-days later, three of the ScoutCast team have sold him on and another teeters on the edge – Jonty is only really hesitating because a four-point hit is involved.

To be fair, Zlatan’s likely biggest fan is missing for this week’s episode. With Granville nursing man-flu, it’s left to Luke to make a return and step in to join Jonty, Andy and myself as we gang up to round on the big Swede.

We’re clearly not the only one’s guilty of this foolishly fickle approach.

This week’s community questions were dominated by talk of a Zlatan exit, whilst also quizzing us on the rise and potential fall of Etienne Capoue, the potential offered by a switch to 3-5-2 and the merits of Theo Walcott as a Fantasy asset. No, really.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

You can view the full Google Hangout version on the second player below, or opt for the old fashioned audio via this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Hiya lads, just looking for a quick RMT for this GW whilst it's quiet and before the inevitable rush through tomorrow.

    Heaton
    Valencia - Baines - Evans
    Mirallas - Sanchez - Mane (v) - Antonio
    Benteke - Aguero (c) - Lukaku

Mirallas > Snodgrass maybe next week, or could do Masuaku > Walker as well.

Masuaku out for sure. Snodgrass is serving me great but his fixtures perk up in a few weeks

      1. Salah’s Sonnet
        10 years, 26 days ago

Yeah he's definitely gone next week mate, Mirallas > Snoddy looks the right move next week as i've already used my 2 FT's.

Nice. Maybe consider an Arsenal defender with fixtures but Walker all good too. Palace fixtures turning soon too. So Benteke might have to go soon.

      1. Salah’s Sonnet
        10 years, 26 days ago

Hiya man! Yeah good points. Could maybe do an Arsenal defender in next week, if not, Walker. Benteke can turn into a few as well considering his price tag.
Bit of a tough decision benching Capoue, it's not worth the AOA chip is it?

oh i like that move yeah! I hadn't even thought of that, yep, liking it, if he get's the minutes like you say, if he plays and performs well this weekend it'll be too good an option to resist to be honest.

      1. COYS Down Under
        10 years, 26 days ago

Yup there is a very common template on here with WC. Tried to be just a little different with Pereyra and PVA.

Looks good pereyra is a good punt but as it is not Capoue it's costing you a premium 2/3 defender.

If i was on wildcare this would pretty much be my team. Noice

  6. AF90

    RMWCT.

    Pickford (Jaku)
    Holebas, McCauley, Kelly, (Amat, Kingsley)
    Sanchez, Mane, Payet, Snodgrass (Carrick)
    Aguero, Ibra, Deeney.

Yes the defence is awful but looking at my front 7 very tempted by this.

Will just downgrade Ibra in 2 weeks & get Walker/Baines in defence.

    1. Kiwivillan
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

I've got rid of Ibra on WC and have Walker Baines this week

    2. Albrightondknight
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

That's why the template is more Antonio and Firmino, but you would think Payet get more that Antonio over the season, but enough to compensate for the defence I am not sure.

    3. BananaNose Maldonado

I think they should have different values depending on the final score etc.

Game winning penalty save = 5
      Game finishing a draw = 4
      Losing game = 3

Keepers get a free shot at saving a penalty like Jaku last week when it doesn't really matter.

I like to go with following squad:
    Foster
    Baines/Alderweireld/Walker
    Sterling/Mane/Capoue/De Bruyne/Coutinho
    Lukaku/Aguero

But I have some dilemmas ... potential overlap between City players , especially Aguero influence over De Bruyne (i don't expect De bruyne freedom as previous 2 MCity matches) ... and how will be starter for Liverpool (mane, cout, firm) or (mane, firm) or (mane, cout)
... and what about Lukaku injury ?

    Any suggestion for alternatives ?

Not before that city Spurs fixtures. But overall I am tempted by this. For defence Spurs have concede the least. The teams that will score most City Pool Arsenal. The triple on City might be a bit much make KDB Sanchez and I like it a lot more. You will have very good weeks with an option like this but be prepared for low scoring weeks too.

My gut is telling me to go maverick with Slimani. Screw the fixtures, screw Lukaku I know if I don't get Slimani I will regret it.

Thoughts? I think Vardy is an amazing supporting striker with great awareness, same with Okazaki. Mahrez crossing and support play is also fantastic and this guy is a complete goalscorer. I just can't seem to get the courage to not pick Lukaku.

I was saying weeks ago that I didn't think Stomes would even crack the team when Kompany returned. Pep lobes Kolarov which leaves 1 spot left for either Kompany, Otamendi or Stones. Time to ditch very soon IMO.

Looks like Jakupovic is in danger of losing his place after Marshall great performance in the EFL Cup. We'll find out this saturday vs Liverpool, I guess.

Gone for something a little different. Namely Zlatan ahead of Kun. RMT. Cheers.

    Foster-Pickford

    Shaw-Stones-Williams-McAuley-Amat

    Mahrez-Mane-Firmino-Sterling-Capoue

    Zlatan-Lukaku-Benteke

Goodluck with that. If this is a wildcard team id reconsider!

Nice to see someone stray away from the template team but it probs won't work out for you

I would say go more template and get Sanchez into midfield with the saving if you going to risk this option.

Sterling for me, and a question for you, Payet or KDB?

      1. Nobodinho
        10 years, 26 days ago

Payet for me, I think KDB will play deeper when Aguero is back.

        1. Helia
          10 years, 26 days ago

I think payet and kdb will both outscore their cheaper team mates but dont think enough for it to be worth picking them over the cheaper option at all

    2. Helia
      10 years, 26 days ago

      Sterling and antonio.

Although ive got kdb and antonio id much rather have sterling and change my redmond to a firmino with that money!

      1. Nobodinho
        10 years, 26 days ago

Who would you pick as 3rd mid if you have to choose one? I've got Sanchez and Firmino.

    ((out of FPL))
Liv and Ars : 10 goals scored by Mids,
    0 from attack
they need the attack to score, if not , they are not title contenders.

I'm doing B for two weeks, and then plan on using the two free transfers to turn B into A for GW8.

Make my benching decision easier. Bench two of:

    A. Capoue
    B. Snoddy
    C. Stones
    D. Evans

Currently playing AOA with AB(Valencia Williams other starters)

      A D

    5. Grand Thibauto

I want to bench A and D as well, because I own Heaton. Also got Capoue's last two points. Should stay happy with it.

If you are playing AOA and you already have two defenders, then aren't Stones and Evans automatically on your bench already?

      1. BananaNose Maldonado
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Or are you asking if you should play AOA? If that's the question, then, no, play Stones and bench Snodgrass.

        1. Grand Thibauto
          10 years, 26 days ago

Yes, that was the question. I am not set on playing AOA benching Stones and Evans. I have Heaton which is swaying me from playing Capoue.
