Romelu Lukaku is set to return to full training ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. Olivier Giroud remains doubtful as Arsenal host Chelsea, whilst Daniel Sturridge is a slight concern for Liverpool’s Anfield encounter with Hull.

Here’s the team news so far…

Olivier Giroud faces a late test on his ongoing toe complaint ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea. Arsene Wenger has also conceded that Aaron Ramsey looks set to remain sidelined until after the international break.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are available for Liverpool’s home match with Hull after both were left out of the midweek trip to Derby as precautionary measures. Jurgen Klopp revealed Daniel Sturridge “should” be available after missing three days’ training, whilst Joe Gomez has stepped up his recovery from injury but is not yet fit for selection.

Xherdan Shaqiri has stepped up his recovery by returning to training ahead of Stoke’s clash with West Brom. Mark Hughes confirmed the Swiss international will be assessed after being sidelined since Gameweek 1. Jon Walters is a doubt for tomorrow after missing the midweek cup loss to Hull due to an ankle problem.

Middlesbrough pair Christhian Stuani and Jordan Rhodes have both recovered from minor injuries and are available to face Spurs at the Riverside.

Kasper Schmeichel has recovered from concussion but remains a minor doubt for Leicester’s trip to United with a muscle problem. Nampalys Mendy and Matty James are still sidelined and Marcin Wasilewski is suspended after being dismissed in the midweek cup loss to Chelsea.

Winston Reid has been passed fit by the West Ham medics ahead of Sunday’s encounter with Southampton.

Scott Dann has been ruled out of Palace’s clash with Sunderland, with Alan Pardew revealing he could also miss the Gameweek 7 encounter against Everton. James Tomkins is available, though, after recovering from the knee problem that forced him off against Stoke on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman expects Romelu Lukaku to return to full training today ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. The Belgian has stepped up his recovery from the toe injury that forced him off in the home win over ‘Boro. James McCarthy and Darron Gibson should return in around three weeks.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Rashford is so tempting for the next 2 fixtures (LEI, STK). United at home for both, and Rashford semi-rested in the EFL cup.

Would also mean I could go with De Bruyne vs Swansea and switch to Sanchez later.

Anyone else going with Rashford on WC over Deeney?

On WC Jakupovic and Pickford looks appealing - 8.1 for two starting GK, a steal at first glance! But when considering longevity I'm dubious about their value.

If 1 or both fall out of favor/ get rotated / injuries occur, swapping them will be a 2 transfer min option due to lack of comparatively priced players.

Particularly if on WC I aim to have 2 settled GK as far as is reasonably possible - I don't want to be making transfers in that area unless my hand is forced by injury - and then I want to do it with 1 transfer.

Mannone won't be out for ever and McGregor and Marshall are waiting for their chance

    Just a thought.

You can do it, but you need to keep 0.3 or 0.4 handy to get a starter in case one looks like becoming the permanent backup. It would be seriously bad luck if they're both dropped at the same time.

    Jaku / Foster

Is Rashford big enough to be a keeper?

      I doubt Ibra plays no.10
If I was a United fan I'd rather see Mata there.

Martial or Mkhi, neither have looked up to it so far.

With Rooney in the 10 tasked with feeding them it's hardly surprising.. my bet is Martial and Mkhi will benefit hugely from Rooney being taken out

He won't do it but I'd be tempted to do a 4-1-3-2 with them all in with Pogba playing a more defensive role patrolling the middle of the park.

Otherwise probably play w/o Mkhi. I think Mata's creativity is needed

Rashford would go up 0.3m in 3 days. Might be worth the risk over Deeney/Ibra even if he starts on the left.

6 in one, half dozen in the other. only time will tell. I've gone for Alexis over Ibra even though have had Ibra from GW 1. Sure hope the big Swede does not make me regret it

    Cech / Pickford
    Walker / Jagielka / Holebas* / Evans / Amat
    Sanchez / Firmino / Antonio / Puncheon / Capoue
    Aguero / Lukaku / Deeney

looks good - why the * by Holebas? Same team as mine except I have Sterling over Punch, but much weaker Defence.

      Maybe swap Jags for Coleman?

Thanks, the * is meant to signify a doubt (some people were posting about it).

If you look at the baps, Jagielka is stealing the show but yes could easily be.

Coleman played only twice so far because of injury that's why he's behind in BPS
