Saturday’s events draw to a close at the Emirates as two heavyweights collide in the tea-time kick-off.

Arsenal host Antonio Conte’s Chelsea as both sides bid to keep pace with a perfect Manchester City at the top of the table.

The big team news finds Cesc Fabregas back in the Blues line-up following his midweek brace in the EFL Cup – Oscar makes way.

Fantasy managers will be more concerned with the fortunes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez heads into the encounter with goals and confidence flowing, although worringly, he has failed to score in his last four league appearances in front of his home fans.

Costa has five goals for the season, notching in four of his five Gameweeks, while Hazard will be looking to break a run of two blanks having been sold by over 350,000 FPL managers ahead of Gameweek 6.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Firmino showed enough to keep for next week.

Involved in build ups, good movement and got in decent positions.

      Yup.

I'm a mane owner, but if I had firmino I wouldn't knee jerk him out.... he's the type of player who will bag a brace next weekend. Can't have points every week.

I have Mane and Firmino. I am swapping Firmino to Coutinho. He won't deliver unless Sturridge in the team.

So annoying that I got only 5 points from possible 46 (including 6 bonus) despite having the 2 most expensive options

See Im not so sure. Guess we'll see. He may bag a good haul every now and again but overall Im starting to suspect he wont be worth 8.4m

      1. Bash Villa
        9 years, 9 months ago

He played either deep or to the left. He's great for opening up spaces.

Last year, his points came at the end of the season with Sturridge in. This season when Sturridge played. I knew it but I ignored it. I thought it's easier to downgrade rather than upgrading

He scored most of his points Jan/Feb as Centre forward with Studge out

          1. Bash Villa
            9 years, 9 months ago

May be. But I'm sure about the end of the season, I had both Sturridge and Coutinho and Firmino kept scoring. Wasn't a good feeling.

Klupp uses the forward-most to either drop deep or to the sides to open up spaces. Then deep players score. That's why Lallana is flourishing.

Anyway. I am shipping out. I cannot wait till both swap prices

Looking at going all out attack next week. Thinking of a 4 point hit to do Costa to Rashford and then it's Leko to either Walcott or Lallana, but which one? Liverpool look excellent but Walcott can be gold, edging towards him currently. Already have Sanchez and Firmino but happy to double up

Didn't get Aguero in the vain hope he wouldn't do much this weekend. I was of course wrong, but I now find myself with a front three for next weekend of Costa (hul) Ibra (STO) Benteke (eve).

Would you bring in Aguero when he plays Totenham away, or stick with that attack? Would seem a shame to get rid of one of Costa/Ibra with such nice fixtures. I would then proceed to get Aguero the following week.

Ibra + Snoddy -> Sanchez + Rashford for -4 too kneejerky?

I need to get Sanchez in at some point in the near future anyways, so we're probably talking about a 0.4-0.5 swing in value here. If I don't pull the trigger this week I will have to ditch either Firmino, Sterling og Antonio next week to fund Sanchez, and I wanna keep those three.

To get Sanchez i will have to do
    A: Øzil + Baines to Sanchez + 4,5 def (-4)
    B: Øzil + Benteke to Sanchez + 6,5 forward (-4)
    C: Øzil + Benteke + Baines to Sanchez + Defoe + Lovren(other 4,9) (-8)

Or is there another way involving the same players that i dont see?

If Ozil with those fixtures is your worst prospect after a double figure return (so much so that you will take a hit to get him out), you must have an amazing team.

Øzil isnt the problem, Benteke is. But as I will transfer him out i am so close to get the upgrade to Sanchez that i feel it might be worth it. Especially for the cap option. The problem is that if i wait i might not afford him as Øzil is dropping and Sanchez is rising.

Ozil isn't dropping, he is 9.5 and rising by 0.5% per hour at the moment.

He did, but Sanchez will be a better C option next gw and will rise while Øzil most likely will drop.
I could do it over 3 weeks, but then the question is whether i can afford it.

People really selling Ibrahimović before Stoke at home, even after his threatening performance today?

I'm keeping, will probably sell if he blanks again vs Stoke

suppose people are now looking at Rashford to free up lots of funds, i got rid for aguero as i planned though and i don't really regret it to be honest. He will score, yes, but would much rather have aguero and keep a nice beasty midfield.

What would you do with this lot ahead of next week? I'd like a Liverpool midfielder but I think I'm going to hold fire for another week. I have £0.5m ITB. Any suggestions?

    Foster
    Valencia McAuley Baines
    Antonio Capoue Chadli Sanchez Sterling
    Kun Lukaku

    (Heaton Benteke Amat Souare)

Team looks good enough to me. I'd stick but if you realy wanted a liv midfielder...
Id do chadli & benteke to coutinho & stuani for the bench & play 3-5-2
