With European football forcing a reschedule, us Fantasy managers suffer a reduced Saturday programme made up of just a quartet of three o’clock kick-offs.

Our main focus is likely to be the London Stadium, where we will be tracking West Ham’s progress against Middlesbrough following four straight defeats. Michail Antonio looks poised to play up front today and carries the hopes of 18% of Fantasy Premier League managers, with almost 13% still keeping faith in Dimitri Payet.

Chelsea are another side with ailing form, although 26% still take Diego Costa into the Blues’ trip to Hull City, with another 20% holding Eden Hazard. Antonio Conte starts both Marcus Alonso and Victor Moses at the KCOM today, with Branislav Ivanovic dropping to the bench.

Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe’s 12% ownership will be hoping for a repeat performance from their striker after his brace in the 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace in Gameweek 6. The Black Cats take on West Brom at the Stadium of Light, with Gareth McAuley found in 26% of FPL squads.

Watford’s Vicarage Road meeting with Bournemouth completes Saturday programme, with Fantasy managers set to re-assess the form of Walter Mazzarri’s assets following Monday’s disappointing defeat at Burnley.

      Depends who you have already I suppose... I've got Coutinho and Sterling but I'm tempted to bring Wally in as well for Antonio but I've already got Sanchez so I'm undecided on that one.

    So for next week I'm looking at

    Pickford
    Lovren - Johnson - Holebas
    Firmino - Sterling - Antonio - Bolasie
    Aguero - Ibra - Lukaku

    Heaton - Baines - Capoue - Amat

    No money in the bank, 2 free transfers and open to a hit. I'd like at least Walcott in I think and Bolasie gone. Antonio going is also a possibility but I do still like the fixtures.

    Ibra has to go to fund anything much though. Ibra to Austin/Wilson for example lets me do Bolasie to Sanchez.

    Part of me thinks that I made a mistake getting rid of Benteke and with West Ham up next I'm tempted by him as 3rd striker again, although it would mean Sanchez becomes difficult. Wonder if he'll be benched again after internationals...

      Yes, Benteke is a necessity just because of his price. Benteks, Kun, Lukaku looks the ideal front 3 for now.

        Has such a good record in the premier league and seems to be keeping it up at Palace + penalties. £7.6m could be a bargain long term.

        Makes Sanchez difficult though, not sure I can go without him and Ibra.

          I have a decision to make on Ibra as I'm one of those who went the Ibra pathway rather than Sanchez. I'm keeping hold of Cazorla for now to see he keeps up with Alexis. I have a feeling KGB will be needed at some point.

          I don't like the essential tag and don't believe anyone is but just right now when he has the fixtures and is right in the middle of a purple patch his potential to absolutely fist a a non owner is strong.. Wally looks the dogs danglers too tbf although can he maintain it.. dunno

        Wish Austin had better fixtures though. Wilson's are okay but Southampton better and Austin always seems to find a way to grab a goal

      Drop Ibra to fund Sánchez. Kinda mad how you still don't have him in your team. Makes it so much easier.

      I know U can't have everyone but having aguero and ibra make it more difficult imo.

    35 (-4) with Walker, Sterling, Sanchez and Aguero (c) to play... V.Happy with Deeney picking up some decent points today while most my opponents went Capoue over Deeney. Antonio is a dilemma though with Walcott and Son waiting in the wings.

    - Just 3 CS over 7 GWs
    - No CS for the last 4 GWs (2 of which after WC)
    - Just 2 assists from defenders
    - Already benched 3 CS because of wrong GK selection!

    Seems like I am doing everything wrong in the defence. Although I am satisfied with my 12K OR, these defensive stats are making me sick. Is this a character of this season or am I the only one ?

      We're all on the same boat mate, defender points are few and far between so far and will continue to be for another few weeks at least. Stick to cheapie defenders until clean sheets start popping up

      There's not much wrong with your defence, CS are hard to come by at the moment. However unless forced I would definitely not start either kelly or amat. I think with arsenal's up coming fixtures investment in one of their defenders is the way to go

      I wouldn't worry about it too much when your attackers are clearly delivering. That defence is not any worse than most imo

        I think you need a captain option on each match day, even unglamorous ones, had Micheal Keane the other Monday night.

        I think that's where I'm burning mine for captain options but feel I'm ahead of the curve in terms of transfers

        Milner's 3rd double haul of the season, though. His average position is pretty advanced and I think Liverpool will get more penalties than most with their swarming attacking football.

        Can you imagine if he was classified as a defender? What a dream!

      I'd do it. Sanchez does have international duty though so I'd wait and take the price rise. Unless you've got the exact change [or can't afforfan Ibra drop] then I'd pull the trigger early.

      Non-owner but I'd imagine he'd have to do better or match Kun right? With Kane out, Sturridge hardly playing -- He and Kun are outright the premium FWDs. I'd keep so long as he scores like one. If Lukaku, Tekkers, Deeney etc are matching him then might as well get them and spread the funds elsewhere IMO.

    Well disastorous GW so far, only Benteke scored anything more than 1 or 2
    Fer on the bench instead of Capoue, 7 pts lost there too.

    Did Baines > Britos instead of Holebas because of the 4 YC's and he goes and gets an Assist. Damn you Random luck!

        Not sure getting rid of any of the options warrant christ. Antonio has failed to deliver in two fairly solid home fixtures. He's 7.2 so that warrants lesser patience than say a 6.0 especially with Walcott, Son, Lallana all in the 7.5 bracket.
