The final fixture of Gameweek 9 sees us pay visit to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea entertain former manager Jose Mourinho and Man United at 4pm.

The home side have chalked up two straight wins and clean sheets since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, defeating Hull and Leicester in consecutive Premier League fixtures.

Diego Costa is the Blues’ main threat, having scored or assisted in seven of the Blues’ first eight fixtures.

The Spain international sits just one booking short of a single-match suspension, though it’s worth noting that a caution today would see him sit out the midweek EFL Cup clash with West Ham and free him up to face Southampton in Gameweek 10.

Those who have held onto Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be hoping for signs of a return to form, bearing in mind the Reds then host Burnley next weekend.

The Swede – who is the second most-captained player for Gameweek 9 – has plummeted in price to 11.3 after scoring just one goal in his previous six league outings.

He's a tricky one is Hazard, glad I kept him but it's irritating how often he gets subbed before 80mins plus Chelsea fixtures not great. He gonna be golden in a few weeks though.
He's quality but just feels like if someone could motivate him to be on the offensive all game he'd be the best player in the league by a mile

Awful first half, but fairly bright in the second - although he was much more likely to assist than score. As to whether you keep him and Kun - on this performance, no - but Soton were very well organised so you might want to see how they go against different teams before making that decision.

I saw the same. He was good in the second half, but also, at best, would have only assisted with some dangerous passes. I think Coutinho is more dangerous, and more direct. Also, man city are off form. Still, with that talent and style of play and fixtures city and pool have, anyone could explode on these two teams.

This is one of those weeks where it is best to save your FT unless your team is a shambles. Too many questions raised this week,

    1. Start collecting premium defs?
    2. Bin Aguero? (this question might be modded)
    3. Keep Aguero as more of a differential captain?
    4. If you bin Aguero, who do you get?
    5. What do I do with the millions in the bank if I bin Aguero?

Hence best course of action, save FT, use it the following week with one more week of data in your hands.

if no injuries should appear in the cup games, thoughts on these moves?

    sterling/snodd -> firmino/redmond (or other midfielder up to 6.2)

Anyone know why Adama Traoré hasn't been starting until now? He looked sensational against Arsenal yesterday. At £4.8 he could be a real bargain if he continues to start and I can't see why he wouldn't.

      Karanka rotates a lot

And traore is new to the club

So I think Karanka stuck with who he was familiar with in Ramirez and Stuani- and there was also fischer who he bought earlier in the window

Now with improving match fitness and form he should start- but beware of karanka rotation!

        Fixtures can be deceiving

mid kept arsenal at bay. stoke 2 cs in last 2. wilson fixtures are not easy as it seems

Prefer Austin as he's playing for a better team, soton can do well against big teams and that hull fixture is points galore

I watched the game yesterday and monitored them closely.

If budget is okay, Clyne is worth it as he got many chances to either create and score.

Attacking wise, Lovren had chances from corner too but far less than Clyne.

They both seem unable to keep CS though.

    26/10 - Manchester United (A)
    29/10 - WBA (A)

Key players must be saved for the UCL game, I guess.
