Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs Everton

The final act of a dramatic day is delivered from Stamford Bridge, as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea seek a fifth straight victory and clean sheet from their clash with Everton.

While Chelsea’s defence will be a focus for some Fantasy managers, this is very much a tale of two strikers, with the in-form Diego Costa and Romelu Lukaku colliding.

The Chelsea man is backed with the armband by 8% of FPL managers, while Lukaku claims 4%. The Belgian has returned in six of his last seven Gameweeks and will provide a stern test for Conte’s rejuvenated defence.

Eden Hazard is the other headline act on show – he’s bidding for his fourth successive goal, having attracted more than 148,000 owners heading into the Gameweek – he’s backed by 3% with the captaincy.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

            He can probably squeeze one of them in if he took hits to avoid price rises and his other strikers are Wilson/Deeney/Austin.

            Either way it means he lost out on at least 2 of the heavy hitting forwards so it's hardly even worth bragging about.

    Unfortunately, to get the midfield we want, we need to sacrifice somewhere.

    I know Costa and Lukaku are tearing it up, but Kun + both of them is just too expensive. Austin in for one allows Sanchez + Hazard + Liverpool + 1 or 2 heavy defenders

    Or, 3-5-2 with Barrow (and those nice fixtures) as your third striker.

    Would allow Hazard and Sanchez quite comfortably, as long as you're happy with Allen/Gundogan/Matic alongside them.
