Dugout Discussion – Spurs vs West Ham

A bitterly disappointing Saturday rumbles on with a tea-time encounter at White Hart Lane.

In Fantasy terms, the clash between Spurs and West Ham looks likely to offer little compensation – aside perhaps for a scouting mission on Harry Kane and a potential clean sheet for the 37.7% owners of Kyle Walker. Son Heung-min’s decline as an option continues as he is relegated to the Spurs bench.

West Ham turn up having enjoyed something of a revival and boasting the fading Fantasy asset that is Dimitri Payet. His talents will be monitored, although an evil run of fixtures for Slaven Bilic’s side is likely to temper any enthusiasm in the Frenchman and Michail Antonio; now owned by just 9.2% of FPL managers, he looks likely to start at right wing-back again this evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Looks like it , Siggy for Christmas anyway.
      Catch the price rise and he is decently fixture proof right now.
      Reminds me of KDB somehow getting an assist before the ninety minutes are over .
      Siggy has exceeded expectations quite early, guessing many will hop on before next 3-4 weeks.

      Can't ask this question after this week s midfield blanks by the majority.
      Feels like this week is a mini pause,before everyone kicks on again next week and is assessed .
      Hazard seems top , Lpool trio seem the next best with 3-4 great games still to come. Arsenal also decent prospects .

      Guess the question should be more about which is the next hot and consistent differential to hop on due to template slowly kicking in .
      Guessing defence is going to be important too for Christmas!

      At 6.8, 6 goals and 1 assist from Antonio so far is pretty decent really. Went through a barren patch, of course, but I've never really gotten around to ditching him...

      Yep,
      Cresswell season pick at 5.3, going to be gold over the long term.
      Kind of sorted the defence out, if they could just get up front working somehow with Sakho /Ayew/Carrol fit, playing well it wont matter the fixtures.

      Not worth a triple up right now IMO .
      Could be a great punt with their short term fixtures though, if you're insistent.

      Would do the Benteke to Austin transfer before Austin s price rises and Teke s price falls which is today I guess.

      With no other team standing out in midfield worthy of a sureshot pick except Chelsea , Mane triple up wouldn't be too bad but I would punt on Pedro-hazard double up instead if pedro shows signs of threat tomorrow .

    Hi...Anyone willing to sense check this plan?

    Got 2fts and zero itb...clearly need to upgrade defence.

    Thinking of doing benteke to anichebe tonight and moving to 352.

    I'll use my 2nd ft to upgrade capoue this week.....and should then have funds to bring in alonso in a couple of weeks..

      Haha you sort of blew his entire plan to shreds .
      @Flynny shifting to 3-5-2 sounds good, Benteke to Anichebe sounds okay .
      And probably wait untill Aguero , Sanchez are confirmed fit after UCL before upgrading Capoue maybe ?
      Capoue should rise in value too within 2-3 days , so will Anichebe so you could make a handy 0.2-0.3 if that really matters to you .

        And then capoue to someone like zaha after euro games....

        Since you already have Aguero , KDB and him double up has been horrible value for money so far .
        You need Costa or Hazard within the next 3 weeks .
        Would do KDB to hazard after next week maybe, KDB has Burnley , would maybe captain him before shipping him off for hazard to make the most of it , in case it's a double digit score 😀

        Seems alright to me!
        Def give Austin Vs Defoe thought before pulling that plug, saving 0.6-0.7 could help you in defence for Christmas if Defoe has hard fixtures in the next 6-8 weeks or you if lack money in the bank .
