Danny Drinkwater is set to start the first of a three-match ban as Leicester entertain Middlesbrough. Joe Allen is suspended for Stoke’s trip to Watford, whilst Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld are both unavailable for Spurs’ visit to Stamford Bridge.

Danny Drinkwater serves the first of a three-match ban after being retrospectively found guilty of violent conduct for an altercation with Watford’s Valon Behrami last weekend. Islam Slimani (groin problem) will be assessed, while Ben Chilwell and Nampalys Mendy are not yet available, having only returned to training yesterday. Matty James is also still sidelined for the visit of Middlesbrough.

Aitor Karanka has conceded that George Friend is likely to remain out “for three or four weeks” with a knee problem ahead of Middlesbrough’s trip to the King Power. Daniel Ayala has recovered from an ankle issue and is back in contention.

Toby Alderweireld has returned to training but remains unavailable for Spurs’ trip to Chelsea tomorrow evening, with Mauricio Pochettino hopeful the Belgian could be fit to face Swansea next weekend. Erik Lamela and Ben Davies remain injured, while Danny Rose is suspended.

Mark Hughes is optimistic that Glenn Whelan will be available for Stoke’s clash with Watford. The midfielder has recovered from a hamstring problem but has now picked up a calf complaint ahead of the Vicarage Road clash. Geoff Cameron and Phil Bardsley are sidelined through injury. Joe Allen sits out a one-match suspension, whilst Jack Butland is expected to return to training next week.

Jefferson Montero (hand) and Leon Britton (calf) have both recovered in time for Swansea’s home clash with Palace. Manager Bob Bradley has confirmed that Ki Sung-Yeung is the only absentee – the South Korean is expected to be out for a couple of weeks with a broken toe.

Paddy McNair has been ruled out for months with knee ligament damage as Sunderland make their way to Anfield. Seb Larsson and Jan Kirchhoff are expected to miss out despite recent returns to action for the club’s reserves. Steven Pienaar is available after serving a one-match ban but Papy Djilobodji misses out due to a similar suspension. Jason Denayer has recovered from a hamstring complaint.

Adam Lallana is expected to remain on the sidelines for Liverpool’s clash with Sunderland. Local press confirmed that the midfielder was once again absent from training yesterday ahead of the Black Cats’ visit to Anfield.

Eddie Howe has revealed that Artur Boruc and Andrew Surman remain doubtful for Bournemouth’s trip to the Emirates. Adam Smith is available after serving a one-match ban last week, Jordon Ibe has recovered from illness, though the on-loan Jack Wilshere cannot play against his parent club.

Steve Mandanda remains sidelined with a knee problem as Palace make their way to the Liberty. Loic Remy will be unavailable for another three weeks after sustaining a calf injury.

Tony Pulis will “make a late decision” on Nacer Chadli, as the Belgian steps up his recovery from a knee problem. The Baggies boss conceded his summer signing faces a tough task to return to the first XI in light of his side’s current form. Back-up stopper Boaz Myhill is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Younes Kaboul and Juan Camilo Zuniga are both doubtful for Watford’s home encounter with Stoke. Jose Holebas returns after serving a one-match suspension, though Craig Cathcart, Kenedy and Isaac Success all remain on the sidelines.

Evans is decent with 2 good fixtures potentially upcoming for defensive returns.

    2. Did you see that throw-in?

Looking at same. Prodl and Barragan don't seem bad options fixture-wise but think I may go Evans.

Oh no, this Kun news is so annoying. Have 2FT.

Should I do Aguero + Sterling to Kane + Hazard.

    Pickford
    Morgan - Lovren - Williams
    Sanchez - Cout - Firm - Pedro
    Kun - Lukaku - Austin

    Boruc, Capoue, Amat, Francis
    2FT, 0.2m ITB

Keeper situation def not ideal, but Pickford will play.. Can see a couple of different options.
    Prepare for GW14 Kane with
    a) Pedro, Lukaku --> Phillips, Zlatan & GW14 Zlatan --> Kane
    b) Pedro --> Phillips & GW14 Sanchez, Lukaku --> Hazard, Kane
    c) Upgrade gk/def
    d) Something else?

    A. no hits
    Lukaku to Austin
    Sterling to Hazard
    (Play Capoue)

    B. no hits
    Sterling to Siggy
    Allen to Phillips

    Foster, Valdes
    Lovren, Walker, Friend, Pieters, Fuchs
    Firmino, Mane, Sanchez, Capoue, Fletcher
    Aguero, Lukaku, Austin

    Sanchez + Lukaku ➡ Siggy + Costa worth -4?

Don't like the idea of going without an Arsenal cover, but that would free up some cash to get Hazard/Chelsea defender/Giroud later on...

I wouldn't get Sanchez out with his fixtures compared to Costa. Id try hard to get Siggy in. Your wasting money in def and your mid field is paying for it. Cap or Fletch are the 5th mid. You need to upgrade one. Pick 2 defs you play regularly say Walker and Lovren rotate the third with Friend and Pieters then lose Fuchs for a playing 4.0 million in case of injuries like Amat. That's too much money sitting on your bench every week.

Liverpool DEF coverage eating my brain!

    Clyne, Matip or Lovren??

Have no faith in Walker anymore, too pricey for his performance...

Lovren has 33 points from his last 6 starts. It's not a terrible return. And with their good fixtures there is no harm in having a Liverpool defender.

Looks good. (C) for Coutinho or Aguero, I have the same "problem". Im leaning towards Aguero, if in form he can do more damage then Cou I believe.

If it's benchfodder anyone who plays and is cheap. If he plays Philips is cheap and in form.

    Afternoon papis:

    Team for GW is

    FOSTER
    KOSCIENLY LOVREN AMAT
    COUTINHO HAZARD SIGURDSSON STANISLAS
    AGUERO COSTA RONDON

    Subs: Pieters, Walker, Allen

I am thinking of sticking captain on Costa or Siggy as I'm 100 points behind and neither of the leaders in my leage have them. I’m leaning towards Siggy currently. Thoughts on this? Is it a wise move or should I play it safe and stick it on one of Coutinho, Aguero or Hazard?

Would you recommend playing Stanislas over Pieters this GW or going for a back four instead?

    Thanks as always.

Experts. Time to bail on Everton. 1FT 2.2 ITB. Is Siggy worth it this week?

    A) Bolasie > Siggy. Means I need -4 to do Kaku > Kane/Costa next week
    B) Do nothing. Ditch Kaku next week to Kane/Costa and avoid a hit.
