Dugout Discussion – Watford vs Stoke

Sunday treats Fantasy managers to four matches as Watford and Stoke get matters underway in the midday kick-off at Vicarage Road.

We have high hopes for the Hornets wing-backs Jose Holebas and Daryl Janmaat, with the duo earning a spot in our Scout Picks and Spot the Differential articles respectively for Gameweek 13.

Etienne Capoue, meanwhile, has the chance to show just why he was last week’s second most transferred in player, with the Frenchman netting for the fifth time this term in a 2-1 win over Leicester.

Stoke roll up without the suspended Joe Allen after the Welshman collected a fifth caution of the campaign last time out.

Those holding the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri will be hoping for an upturn in form ahead of next week’s home clash with Burnley. With the fixtures set to turn against the Potters from Gameweek 15 onwards, many will be already planning an escape route.

    Yep possibly the worst management decisions of my FFS career. Not only did I take armband off of Kun and put it on Firminho, I also took him out for a 4 point hit for Ibra at 11.29. I also played Pickford over Grant(did the opposite last week...)...Ho hum...

        Yes I suppose Ibra only has to score 21 points for me to get the same as I otherwise would have if I hadn't made a bad decision(24+3-6).......

        Just felt Watford would score with so many players missing and thought Pickford could get some good save points more than Grant-genuinely didn't think either would keep a clean sheet.

      Kopp isnt fooling anyone with his optimism. Everyone can see the images. Fact is your ankle is not made to bend that way. Ligaments stop it from rotating 360. Im guessing months rather than weeks

        Honestly, Sturridge doesn't quite fit Klopp's system or model. He's a great finisher but is too selfish/individualistic and doesn't press enough. Origi a better fit in that sense.

      Not taking a single hit this season has cost me untold points by being a GW behind the player i wanted to bring in, only for them to get a rake of points the GW before.

      Its looking like a -4 hit for coutinho + Lukaku > Siggy + Kane is a necessity due to player value at the moment.

      Then again going dullard template has not being very rewarding this season so far so maybe time to think outside the box!
