β€œAll this taking hits, it gets a bit moreish.”

One of my favourite all-time quotes from the ScoutCast arrives in this week’s episode, as Jonty does his best to explain another abject Gamework return.

Struggling with misfortune and misfiring moves, our former resident β€œdullard” is now resigned to chasing memories from his season – those maverick move successes he can store and take with him for future campaigns.

There’s nothing maverick about my season right now, as I furiously back-peddle on my exit plans and watch Andy and Jonty jump and fall into the no-Aguero abyss without me. Granville tries to talk me over the edge, but I’m not budging.

Elsewhere in this week’s episode, we tackle the Philippe Coutinho injury fall-out head-on, chase our tails on β€œessential” assets and attempt to settle the Walcott vs Sanchez and Hazard vs Pedro arguments.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

how is my team for this week?

    cech (pick)
Evans - Walker - Cedric (kingsley, alonso)
Hazard - Mane - Allen - walcott (zaha)
    Kane(C) - Costa - Austin

shld i change cedric for alonso and shld i choose pickford over cech as west ham have scored in all home games bar one?

    Next week:

    A) Vertonghen + 4 points (mun)
    B) Alonso (WBA)

Only way I can bring Alonso in. Saying that, Vert could get his fifth yellow this weekend to make it easy.

Yeah think about the 2 sweet fixtures for Spurs in 16&17 too. But yes that move is worth a -4 for sure imo.

Yeah I know that but think Alonso could easily get double digits in any of Chelsea's games he's that attacking. I've got Kane for those games anyway, fwiw.

I think he was coming back from injury initially then maybe they were trying to see the game out by bringing on an extra defender/midfielder.

Don't think there's any particular reason, just a case of an injection of fresh legs later in the game I'd imagine.

I don't see the problem - he does the business then gets subbed off. Job done.

Historic injury / weakness in, I think, the knees.

Supposedly he has been working a lot on his diet and fitness this season so should see more game time.

It's why in never makes the Europa League squad though, so I wouldn't expect him to feature much in GWs 16 & 19.

Pedro + Firm --> Hazard and budget 4th mid. Would just really want Hazard from next week if I was you.

Depends on if you are willing to go without Firm of course. Your 4th could even be Can with some cash to spare

As you are on WC you should consider all options. You could
think about upgrading Amat to Ake. Not sure, who is more nailed to be honest, but can't see you wanting to play a Swansea defender unless they really improve for the good fixtures. Not sure if it is a good idea haha, but you should always play with different options on a WC πŸ™‚

Barragan+Amat->Chambers+Ake would allow me to do that but is Ake really more nailed than Amat? I am not too sure.....Neither am i about Chambers...

Thought you could change Amat -> Ake with the 0.1 in your bank.

Definitely wouldn't do the other one.

As I said, I am not sure who is more nailed of Amat or Ake, but if you can't afford it doesn't matter. Just don't have much faith in a Swansea defender, who isn't even 100% nailed πŸ™‚

We'll find out more in the presser but I'd imagine Firmino will be fine. He just took a bit of a whack on his calf. Lallana's match fitness could be a problem though.

Rondon has a good chance of returns this week so I would hold.

    Pick one to start:

    a) Williams (MUN)

    b) Stones (CHE)

    c) Gundogan (CHE) - AOA

All of these players are rubbish, I know.

That transfer is coming soon, not worth a hit though imo.

Wouldn't use AOA when you have playing defender and Gundo isn't a sure starter and has a tough game.

Would probably play Williams out of the two

Depends on where you invest that 1.6 mil....But Austin seems so good value...

for the upcoming schedule, who's more important to have from Chelsea--Costa or Hazard?

      The general consensus is-
Hazard-A huge haul every other GW
      Costa-Consistent returns
      Select either and stick imo...
