The December schedule now picks up pace as Tuesday evening treats Fantasy managers to the first two matches of Gameweek 16.

All eyes will be on Alexis Sanchez as Arsenal make their way to Goodison.

The Chilean has already delivered 10+ points hauls on four occasions away from the Emirates and faces a defence that’s managed a single clean sheet in 11.

Both Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil were in the goals at home to Stoke and Saturday and have the chance to stake a claim as a double-up option alongside their more explosive team-mate.

For the Toffees, Romelu Lukaku returned to form with a brace away to Watford last weekend and looks the man most likely to break down a Gunners rearguard that’s kept out their opponents in only one of the last eight Gameweeks.

Bournemouth entertain a resurgent Leicester in the other 7.45pm kick-off.

Fantasy interest in Jamie Vardy is on the rise after his stunning hat-trick at home to Man City ended a 10-Gameweek goalless drought.

If Claudio Ranieri’s men can take advantage of a Cherries defence that’s conceded three times in each of the last three Gameweeks, more investment could come their way ahead of some decent upcoming fixtures.

The home side will be buoyed by the numbers too, though.

Having conceded 18 times in seven road trips, Leicester’s defence has been anything but resilient – only Crystal Palace (19) have shipped more away goals.

Callum Wilson drops to the bench despite netting against Arsenal and Liverpool over the last three Gameweeks. Steve Cook, Nathan Ake and Charlie Daniels boast plenty of goal threat from the back, though – all three have netted twice already this season.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I really need to ditch Morgan and there are a couple of options im weighing up.

    1. Morgan to Jones
    2. Morgan & Firmino to Alonso & 7.1 or less (no idea who) [-4]
    3. Morgan & Nacho to Alonso & Anichibe [-4]

Depends on what you paid for him
If he rose by 0.2 and goes down 0.1 no loss
If he's never risen and drops then you'll lose 0.1

If the difference between the purchase price and current price moves from even to odd, you'll lose sell value.

E.g. PP 8, CP 8.4 gives a SP of 8.2 (half the bought value)

Player drops to 8.3, SP drops to 8.1 because half the value is 8.15 but the game rounds down.

You can also go to FFFix, where your players than can lose value are highlighted in read.

Just remember you only bank half the profit of price rises above your purchase value.
So if you bought a player at 8m and he is now 8.2, you will be able to sell for 8.1m. If that players drops to 8.1m before selling, you won't get any profit, as it is rounded down and you can only sell for 8m

Every drop below purchase value below purchase price will cost you 0.1m - while you can say that every other drop above purchase value will cost you 0.1m (in general).

Do the math from list view on transfer page or use FFFix if you are having a hard time or can't be bothered 😉

Thats what always happens to me. If Firmino does not show im thinking of getting Payet in, then dropping Nacho for Anichebe. This would free up cash and allow me to improve my 4th & 5th mid as well as my defense.

Amat won't keep many CS as they look now.
Ake is a slight rotation risk with mixed fixtures.
Jones is a big rotation risk with excellent fixtures.

Guess it depends on your other defenders and whether you are inclined to taking risks 🙂 And of course if it is long or short term.

I for one enjoy the way the price changes are happening now.

I think it gives another dimension to the game. You trade in price rises for lack of information. You can choose yourself whether you would like to take the risk or whether to play it safe and lose out on the cash.

Seems like I am the only one around here that enjoys the way it is working, but I think it makes a lot of sense.

The supply and demand model + risk vs. cash is the way to go and brings something more to the game.

You are of course entitled to your opinion, as I am to mine. But your comment is kind of contradicting itself, as the creators of this particular fantasy football game thought that the current pricing model is part the fantasy football.

A lot of other games out there with different price systems.

            Absolutely this.
This has been a feature of this game since the beginning, the most popular fantasy football game with no big prizes either.
Just don't get the whining that's going on around here these days.

No one is forcing you to pay attention to the price changes, it's just insecurity in points-chasing.

I like it like this too. The mass (over)reaction came when the prices went into overdrive for a couple of weeks due to the Aguero exodus / Sanchez...erm...inxodus.

The price system is perfect. It adds a competitive dimension to the game that attempts to prevent an overly templatized 15.

No one is forced to pay attention to it, but if you want to be really competitive, you can choose to.

Many veteran, regularly high-ranking managers religiously make their transfers hours before the deadline.

A lot of the time, being a slave to the price changes is indicative of being insecure in the absence of points-chasing.

      --

All that being said, no price changes on the the first day of a 2-day gameweek (or first two days of a 3-day gameweek) is an interesting proposition.

Valencia clearly, if your funds stretch that far.

Maureen has said he'll rotate Jones, Rojo and Bailly so it's not as if Jones will get no minutes and he played well v Spurs. If you get him just make sure you have a playing defender on the bench.

Was thinking Fuchs > Jones tonight (catch the rise) then possibly Walcott & Firmino to Hazard & Siggy after tomorrows games for -4

However i have Gündogan and Allen in midfield. Would Firminio > Siggy & Gündogan > Pedro for free be better?

    Thanks

Yeah I don't particularly want to shell out 12.8 for someone who has two red card offences already and two suspensions.

Brunt - MUN ars sot HUL tot - Not a kind run of fixtures but very attacking and on set pieces

Cedric - bou TOT WBA eve bur - Good run of fixtures but the less attacking teams are away games, also very attacking

    Is this interesting to anyone?

Taking my cue from November's HOF articles, though only looking at the top 5 career HOF teams:

*lowest rank in the last 3 seasons for any of the top 5 is 4,324
*highest rank in the last 3 seasons for any of the top 5 is 49
    *all (c) Kane GW16
*all made at least 1 transfer with one team taking a hit and making 2 transfers
*players in: Philips x2, Kane, Antonio, Eriksen, Alonso
*players out: Firmino x3, Benteke, Can, Mustafi
*players in all 5 teams: Kane, Costa, Sanchez
*players in 4 out of 5 teams: Sigurdsson, Alonso, Amat
*players in 3 out of 5 teams: Hazard, Lovren, Foster, Heaton, Pickford

career HOF rank / squad value / ITB / current FPL rank
    #1 / 101.7 / 2.1 / 47,662
    #2 / 103.2 / 0.4 / 87,566

Understandable. Firmino has been looking a bit stale lately. Not saying he can't punish us non-owners this week, but I can't see a huge haul away at Boro tbh.

Some of my omissions from the commonly owned players are making me a bit nervous though :/
