Dugout Discussion – Bournemouth vs Southampton

The first of three Sunday afternoon fixtures gets underway at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth entertain Southampton in the 1.30pm kick-off.

Eddie Howe’s side have chalked up four clean sheets in eight matches in front of their own fans, with Charlie Daniels and Steve Cook heading into Gameweek 17 amongst the top seven scoring Fantasy Premier League defenders.

The out of position Adam Smith has also piqued our interest on the right flank, while Nathan Ake budget price tag made him the number one defender for transfers in ahead of the weekend.

Up against a Saints side with three goals in the last seven Gameweeks, Howe’s defence could plunder the points once again.

Bearing in mind that Southampton have served up four clean sheets in the previous five, goals may be hard to come by in this one.

Owners of Cedric Soares will be relieved as the right-back recovers from illness to return to Claude Puel’s starting XI.

        Yeah, it's about the time, with even being dropped now. It's awful thing, he produces very nice underlying stats and actually has got into good chances, but just doesn't seem to convert any of his shots.

        JRod, I doubt before he shows he can keep the starting spot.

        Boufal, my only problem is that he's more expensive than others, so if they end up being equal, I lose on that. But he's class and seems to me to be the main attacking player in the team now.
