Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Current standings for attacking stats for the last four matches played as oppose the last four game weeks. Top one seems like he might be a good diff.

not 100% with Smalling back, but good enough i'd say.

      worth getting if needed

I see. Never knew Jones' been starting for the last 7 gameweeks now, seems to have built on fitness. Thanks for the help, I'll definitely monitor the injury situations of Shaw and Bailly.

Don't get me wrong. I definitely think there is a risk he will be rotated for a game. Still at 4.8 I took the chance, but that was before this GW though.

Yeah, I think it's probably not too late to get him. He's playing at a top 6 club with nice fixtures and Moutinho in charge, it seems there's a lot to gain and little to lose, he's still 4.8m. 🙂

Good evening ppl. Haven't been around and didn't watch a lot of games these past 2-3 weeks. I got a question that's probably been asked a lot:

Who are the popular targets for Iheanacho? Got 7M to work with.

  5. Elijah's Wood

    Iheanacho dropping in price tonight.

    A) bring in Benteke (-4)
    B) save, play vs hull, but get priced out of bringing in Benteke in the near future

I've done that 2 weeks ago, terrible decisions...but to be fair I was a little pissed from losing 0.2m by doing Aguero to Kane a day too late. 🙂

  6. Kurtinho

Seem to be getting green arrows followed by reds. Hovering between 20k - 60k these last few weeks.

    Pickford
    Alonso - Lovren - Brunt
    Sanchez - Hazard - Payet - Eriksen
    Lukaku - Kane - Origi

    Jaku; Amat, Pieters, De Roon
    0ITB + 1FT

Thinking of Payet + Kane > Walcott + Ibra for a hit. Yay or nay?

  7. Mulla

    Bit boring but...

    Play
De Roon (bur) in a 3-5-2

    or

    Amat (WHU) in a 4-4-2

    1. Licious Lizard

      de roon

Probably Amat. More chance of a cleanie than attacking points from De Roon. He's hit his quota for the season.

This could be the turning point of my season, a pivotal moment where it all changes for the better...or not.
Just did Kane/Capu »»»Ibra/De Roon so I prob should play the chap in fairness lol

            1. Licious Lizard

Doesn't matter when you got him I would say. Would still prefer his point potential over Amat's - even though it is probably a 0-2 point swing.

Rumours are that Victor Lindelof will be United's player as soon as transfer window is opened.

He plays as CB so that makes even more harder to decide if I should get Jones.

He looked fairly assured at the Euros.

yeah... in Portugal that are the rumours too, but we never know if it's true

    3. Frank Black
      • 13 Years

He's very overrated and according to the rumors they'd be paying 45M euros, which doesn't make much sense considering he has a 30M euros release clause. He could be the new Mangala, although he's always looked better than that.

Hard to tell if he'd be put in the starting 11 right away coming from the portuguese league.

I think your biggest concern with Jones is not if they sign a new CB but how much rotation there's going to be plus the fact that he's VERY injury prone.

    Foster (Jaku)
    Lovren, Walker, Alonso (Smith, Nyom)

    Deeney, Origi (Costa-suspension)

Missed a good chance, should've scored. Didn't see much of the rest of the game though.

Dross. In the first half in particular there were so many misplaced passes.

Worth keeping him for Stoke ?

He was quite attacking I thought, his performance isn't nearly as bad as what's made up because he's blanking. Should have scored a couple, Mane was luck to have the ball bounce his way from Sturridge's shot otherwise it would have been Firmino's

    Pickford Grant
    Walker Cedric Holebas Evans Amat
    Sanchez Hazard Eriksen Siggy Fletcher
    Defoe Ibrahimovic Costa

    Will Defo be keeping Costa.

It was a terrible week of football (one of the worst in my life), your team looks good and will get you points in the near future.

Cheers Parisse. It always looks promising but then it just never seems to happen.
Captaining someone who actually gets points seems to be my problem at the moment

This has been my problem this week also, I captained Kane twice. It was reasonable to buy him, but just didn't work out.

Exactly the same. Think I might stick to some trustworthy people to captain instead.

Sanchez maybe? 🙂 He looks the obvious pick in my team (I don't have Ibra as you do), but I recall Wenger saying Sanchez will get a rest during the Christmas period, so I really don't know what to think now.

Sanchez is the best captain for any week.
Whatever arsenal does, he is always there.
I had Sanchez captain in last 2 weeks when mass went with Kane . And I am pretty happy about it

It's all just a mess ha! Will be Ibra for a while. He has nearly a goal a game at the moment. Similar to Costa so it's him especially va Sunderland

Amat off the bench for 1 point , deRoon second sub (10 points), but can't complain decent score of 61(-4) on here.
It has been a tough week for Ibraless teams on FFS I would imagine. Better luck this week all!

A lot of dead teams with Ibra (C), I imagine. Top 10k probably haven't scored much more than that this gameweek.
