Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

    My 9 yr old son just got 89 points and GW rank of top 2k to go top of our mini-league. He'll be so happy to hear about it tomorrow especially as he didn't get chance to set up his team this week because I had to go out Saturday morning when I normally help him with it. Shows what use I am 🙂

      I bought in Defoe a couple of weeks ago and he hasn't been the best. He has scored goals vs Man City, Southampton and Arsenal. He could slot a few more against those defenses.

        Can't really wait and hope he scores, rivals are going up and up and here I haven't even crossed 700.

        Already waited looooooong for firmino to do something and here I am giving him one more week before transferring out for Walcott.

    What do people think of Hazard captain for next week? With Costa out he could step up and be the one to get the goals and Bournemouth are shaky at the back lately. They've conceded 12 in the last 5 games. I think I might take a chance on him over Ibra or Sanchez

          Yep. As an Arsenal fan, I feel that's definitely possible. West Brom could frustrate them. And the team showed no desire to come back into the game after conceding the second goal against City.
