Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

        I thought this. He also messed up a great chance though. The thing for me is I have the EXACT money to bring in Aguero now but it means selling Firmino and bringing in de Roon and de Roon is going to go up before boxing day.

      Yep. The real concern for Kane was that prior to the WHU game Spurs weren't scoring. They had lost attacking potency. That is now back and Kane is still the main goal threat.

      Kane got a reprieve this week due to Costa's suspension. I had planned to do Kane to Costa next week but I may have more pressing issues to fix if Payet blanks again. So I think maybe Harry gets two more weeks to do something before he gets the axe

      Similar thing happened last year. off the back of 7 goals in 4 games didn't score in two easy fixtures, then proved that he was a season keeper from then on.

    Based on player form, Alexis should be an easy choice, but with Costa gone and Arsenal in a mini-crisis plus the good form of WBA, i'm leaning towards Hazard.

            Yes but if there are more than 2,097,152 qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies. And if the cutoff is 49 then we don't have enough qualifiers, and if the cutoff is 48 then we have too many, so the random draw will be used among those who have got 48 points to fill the rest of the spots right? Or have I confused myself with the rule?

        I had him all season until his suspension. I don't think i will. I will be looking at Costa/Ibra up top in a 3-5-2 and maybe downgrade Hazard or Eriksen.

      Was poor. Got in to some decent positions but his end product wasn't great and he found himself out wide up against two opposition players too often. I would wait a week on that transfer but yes

    Marten de Roon and Adam Clayton...... both Middlesbrough midfielders priced at £4.3m but what roles do they both have in the team? I need a 4.3m 5th midfielder who plays every game to bring in Aguero.

      I think De Roon would be the better option there, seems to get forward more than Clayton from hat I've seen.

        Do you know what their actual roles are in the team? I don't think I've watched them play all season to be honest. I'd prefer de Roon just because he has scored 2 and Clayton hasn't but de Roon is also going up in price soon.........
