Olivier Giroud is back in training as Arsene Wenger confirms that Arsenal have no injuries from last week’s win at Swansea. Robert Snodgrass is a worry for Hull ahead of their trip to Chelsea, while Leighton Baines is also a minor doubt as Everton roll up to Palace.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal have no injuries from the squad that faced Swansea last weekend. The Gunners boss also stated that Hector Bellerin, Francis Coquelin and Kieran Gibbs “should be available” for selection at home to Burnley, though Theo Walcott misses out again.

Winston Reid, Sofiane Feghouli, Sam Byram and Andy Carroll are all minor doubts for West Ham’s trip to Middlesbrough, with Slaven Bilic “very optimistic” that all four will be available at the Riverside.

Robert Snodgrass is a slight doubt for Hull’s trip to Chelsea with a muscle problem. David Meyler is set to return to training today and is likely to be available.

Ronald Koeman has revealed that Leighton Baines is “struggling a bit” with a rib problem but expects the defender to be fit in time to face Palace. Maarten Stekelenburg – who was on the bench last weekend – is now 100% fit, according to his manager.

Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Bertrand have recovered from the knocks that forced them to miss Southampton’s midweek cup clash with Norwich. Steven Davis remains on the sidelines, though, as Claude Puel’s welcome Leicester to St Mary’s.

Jan Vertonghen has been ruled out for around six weeks with the ankle injury that forced him off against West Brom last weekend. Mauricio Pochettino also revealed that Erik Lamela is set for further scans on a hip injury that leaves the club uncertain as to when he will return.

Antonio Barragan and Gaston Ramirez remain unavailable for Middlesbrough’s clash with West Ham. The Teesside team have new boy Patrick Bamford in contention after he was snapped up from Chelsea in midweek.

Mark Hughes has revealed that Bojan is back in contention for Stoke’s clash with United after recovering from a hip problem. The Potters manager has no new injury concerns ahead of the bet365 encounter.

West Brom will make a late assessment on Jonny Evans’ ongoing calf problem, while Tony Pulis has conceded they are still waiting to hear if Allan Nyom is cleared to play after withdrawing from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Paul Clement has confirmed that recent additions Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll will feature at Anfield, though fellow new boy Luciano Narsingh is doubtful with a calf complaint.

Heurelho Gomes remains a doubt for Watford’s trip to Bournemouth due to a back problem. Daryl Janmaat (groin) will be assessed, while Isaac Success and Nordin Amrabat remain sidelined.

Javier Manquillo has been ruled out of Sunderland’s trip to West Brom with a calf complaint. David Moyes expects Jack Rodwell to be available but is less optimistic on Victor Anichebe and Steven Pienaar’s chances of recovering in time.

Marc Wilson is sidelined for Bournemouth’s home match with Watford due to a hamstring problem. The Cherries are also without Simon Francis, who serves the last of a three-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Good day

    San(C)hez Lallana Phillips Eriksen (Snoddy)
    Ibra Defoe Giroud

have 1 ITB and im thinking Reid, Snoddy>Gibson, Antonio (why isnt he the talk of the week? 😛 ) Any other suggestions/combos?

If you're ahead just save - don't take off -4 of your lead.

Reid is playing away to a pretty toothless borough attack.

Snoddy is on your bench anyway so no need to bring in Antonio who would you play him against + the fact he's playing against a rather stubborn Borough defence (yep toothless and stubborn).

      Sanchez.

      - Burnley are terrible away from home as the away stats show.
      - Arsenal are the most clinical team in the league (in terms of shot conversion into goals percentage)
      - Arsenal right up there for shots per game and shots on target per game.
      - Sanchez angry after getting subbed last week.
      - Sanchez gets 1 pt more per goal than a striker and has clean sheet and BAPS potential

Hazard has the fixture, Kane has the form, Ibra has the consistency...

I fancy Kane to run riot against that City defence but Hazard is the sensible option. If I go Hazard though I really wont enjoy tomorrow evening's game so think I'll stay on Kane.

    INJURY UPDATE FROM JOSE

Mourinho has conducted his weekly interview with MUTV and the manager happily reported that none of the players are injured ahead of Saturday’s trip to the Potteries. Asked by Stewart Gardner if we still have “zero injuries”, Jose said: “It is the same, we are fine. We have no problems which is normal, but not big issues. We are in a very good situation.”

Had an absolute 'mare last week, so looking for a strong recovery...I have 0.1m ITB and 1 FT.

Firstly, is this worth taking a 4 point hit:
    Out: Daniels (5.2) + Baines (5.5)
    In: Alonso (6.6) + Browning (3.9)

Secondly, then should I take a further 8 point hit for the following:
    Out: Alli (8.5) + Costa (10.3)
    In: Pedro (7.0) + Kane (11.1)

The rest of the team is:
    Foster (Jaku)
    McAuley Jones Daniels Baines (Smith)
    Sanchez Alli Hazard Lallana Philips
    Ibra Costa (Grabban)

    Couple of thoughts to share:
    - Feel like Alonso it now an essential as he's playing so attacking.
    - If Costa isn't playing, it makes Hazard essential as he'll be playing as false #9.
    - Not sure how good Bournemouth defence will be without Ake.

    Thanks all!!

I don't think it's necessary to do anything drastic to a well balanced team. Alonso had an incredible week last week, but it was somewhat of a 'freak' score that he managed. There is as much chance of Baines grabbing a brace as Alonso, in my opinion.

    5. diesel001
      • 9 Years

      1) No
      2) No

Costa and Foster to Lukaku and Heaton IMO.

      Heaton - Jaku
      Jones - Daniels - Baines - McAuley - (Smith)
      Sanchez - Alli - Hazard - Lallana - Phillips
      Ibra - Costa - (Grabban)

Looks like I'll keep my team.

The Alonso thing probably hurt more as I got rid of him (and Ake) last week for Baines + Daniels and got punished severely!!

Hopefully Costa returns to the starting lineup. Hazard to be captain this week??

      Appreciate all the feedback.

That is a headache. I suppose it has to be Pogba this week. Eriksen on the bench would be very uncomfortable.

Pogba has more threat then Rondon I think it's silly to bench him

Aguero > Lukaku for free or ride Aguero out?

    Team would be

    Foster

    Belleriin, Alonso, Walker

    Sanchez (C), Phillips, Lallana, Pedro

    Kane, Lukaku, Defoe

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance guys.

Still worth getting Baines in? Was all set to do that transfer until the news emerged about his ribs.

People are buying Coleman, if you have balls get Baines 😉

I may just wait a week to be honest, I've got Holebas with an okay fixture. I want Baines over Coleman, purely for pens. Its such an advantage.

I would probably get Coleman instead just to be safe or wait a week if you're set on Baines.

Low. Best thing is to ask someone who is going to the game to tell you who is warming up properly before the game and if anyone is missing IMO.
