A weekend strike against Sunderland took Chris Bruntโ€™s tally to three goals and as many assists in just 13 starts for West Brom this season.

Yet the Irishmanโ€™s bandwagon has failed to materialise mainly due to the continued popularity of four-goal team-mate Gareth McAuley, who now resides in 27.9% of Fantasy Premier League squads after grabbing a 12-point tally against the Black Cats.

Often utilised as a winger by Tony Pulis this season, Brunt has netted twice in the last three Gameweeks despite a shift to left-back. Even more impressively, a goal involvement rate of 28.6% when on the pitch is higher than any regular backline option this season.

Considering his classification as a defender in FPL, we assess his latest displays to see just what effect his stint in the Baggies back-four has had on the underlying numbers.

      I don't have it but I don't really want it. It's 28m for 3 players from the same team. I think Alli and Eriksen offer just as much as Kane but for 2.5m cheaper. For me, Eriksen is a must have and I'd choose one between Alli and Kane.

      Don't fall for Lanzini. I've had him for 4 weeks when the Hammers had great fixtures, he gave me nothing. He looks lively and back then he already scored 2 penalties. But he only is on penalties when Noble isn't on the pitch anymore and he always plays nowadays. He also got rotated with ayew a lot and started playing 90m when Payet left. Snodgrass is his replacement so he'll still have to share game time with the likes of Ayew and Feghouli.
      Mirallas however seems more nailed and is a lot more selfish, maybe not a better player IRL but in FPL he is.
